NOTIFICATION-I

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the

Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the

Government of Karnataka hereby declare that the area consisting of Raichur Growth

Center industrial area, Raichur Taluk, Raichur District with an extent of 1744.75 acres

occupied by industries as shown in the map enclosed herewith and consisting of areas

specified in Schedule-A to be called as “the Raichur Special Investment Region”.

NOTIFICATION-II

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 8 of the

Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the

Government of Karnataka hereby designate the Karnataka Industrial Areas

Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for “the Raichur

Special Investment Region” and is empowered to exercise all the powers and perform

all the functions as specified under Section 15 of the said Act.

NOTIFICATION-III

Whereas, the Government of Karnataka has declared Raichur Growth Center

industrial area, Raichur Taluk, Raichur District as “the Raichur Special Investment

Region” published vide Notification-I, No. CI 13 SPQ 2025, dated 10.02.2025 as required

under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022

(Karnataka Act 5 of 2023).

And whereas, the State Government has designated Karnataka Industrial Areas

Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for the Raichur

Special Investment Region published vide Notification-II, No. CI 13 SPQ 2025, dated

10.02.2025 as required under sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 8 of the said Act.

Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of

section 29 of the said Act, “the Raichur Special Investment Region” shall deemed to be

an Industrial Township and the Government of Karnataka hereby declare that the

Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (Regional Development Authority) to

be the Industrial Township Authority.

Also, the Government of Karnataka hereby accord permission to exercise powers

and discharge functions of Industrial Township Authority by the Regional Development

Authority under sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 29 of the said Act.
