NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (2) and (3) of Article 166 of the

Constitution of India, the Governor of Karnataka hereby makes the following

rules further to amend the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business)

Rules,1977, namely:-

1. Title and Commencement.-1) These rules may be called the

Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official

Gazette.

2. Amendment of Schedule XXIV, - In the Karnataka Government (Allocation of

Business) Rules, 1977, in Schedule XXIV, in sub - heading ‘B’ for the words

“DIRECTORATE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND BIO-

TECHNOLOGY” the words “DIRECTORATE OF ELECTRONICS, INFORMATION

TECHNOLOGY AND BIO - TECHNOLOGY” shall be substituted with effect from 28-

06-2024.
