NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (2) and (3) of Article 166 of the

Constitution of India, the Governor of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules

further to amend the Karnataka Government (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1977,

namely:-

RULES

1. Title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka

Government (Allocation of Business) (Amendment) Rules, 2025.

(2). They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official

Gazette.

2. Amendment of Schedule XIX-A.- In the Karnataka Government (Allocation of

Business) Rules, 1977 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in SCHEDULE XIX A,

under the heading “KANNADA, CULTURE AND INFORMATION DEPARTMENT”,

under the sub-heading “A. Literary and Culture Affairs” serial no.8 and the entries

relating thereto shall be omitted.

3. Amendment of Schedule XII.- In SCHEDULE XII to the said rules, under the

heading

“PLANNING,

PROGRAMME

MONITORING

AND

STATISTICS

DEPARTMENT”, under the sub-heading “B. Man-Power”, after serial no.5, the

following shall be inserted, namely:-

“6. Karnataka Border Area Development Authority.”
