THE KARNATAKA MEDICAL REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2025

(Received the assent of the Governor on the 09^th day of September, 2025)

An Act further to amend the Karnataka Medical Registration Act, 1961.

Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Karnataka Medical

Registration Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 34 of 1961), for the purposes hereinafter

appearing;

Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the seventy sixth year of

the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the

Karnataka Medical Registration (Amendment) Act, 2025.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of section 28.- In the Karnataka Medical Registration Act, 1961

(Karnataka Act 34 of 1961), in section 28, for the words “in the case of a first conviction

with fine which extend ten thousand rupees and in the case of subsequent conviction with

fine which may extend to one lakh rupees”, the words, figures and brackets “under the

෱ಡಲൽಂದ ಈ ෨ಂൽඦ൤ ಅඌඛಯ෦ತ฿ಗย:-

1. ๸౾౹ಪ౨ ກಸฆ ಮൡ౨ ඩ౳ฏಭ.- (1) ಈ ಅඌඛಯಮವඝ౬ ಕකბಟಕ

็ದ౲౾ೕಯ ඣೕಂದ൐ (ൟൿ౪ಪല) ಅඌඛಯಮ, 2025 ಎಂൿ ಕฉಯತಕౙൿ౪.

(2) ಇൿ ಈ ಁಡศ ೦คಡ ಬರತಕౙൿ౪.
