NOTIFICATION-I

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the

Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the

Government of Karnataka hereby declare that the area consisting of Gamanagatti,

Itigatti, Tarihal and Gokul Industrial Areas, Dharwad District, with extent of 1408.92

acres occupied by industries as shown in the map enclosed herewith and consisting of

areas specified in Schedule-A to be called as “the Gamanagatti-Itigatti Special

Investment Region”.

NOTIFICATION-II

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 8 of the

Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the

Government of Karnataka hereby designate the Karnataka Industrial Areas

Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for the

Gamanagatti-Itigatti Special Investment Region and is empowered to exercise all the

powers and perform all the functions as specified under section15 of the said Act.

NOTIFICATION-III

Whereas, the Government of Karnataka has declared Gamanagatti, Itigatti,

Tarihal and Gokul Industrial Areas, Dharwad District as the Gamanagatti-Itigatti Special

Investment Region published vide Notification-I, No. CI 109 SPQ 2025, dated

06.12.2025 as under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Karnataka Special Investment

Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023).

And whereas, the Government of Karnataka has designated Karnataka Industrial

Areas Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for the

Gamanagatti-Itigatti Special Investment Region published vide Notification-II, No. CI

109 SPQ 2025, dated 06.12.2025 as required under sub-sections (1) and (3) of section

8 of the said Act.

Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of

section 29 of the said Act, the Gamanagatti-Itigatti Special Investment Region shall

deemed to be an Industrial Township and the Government of Karnataka hereby declare

that the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (Regional Development

Authority) to be the Industrial Township Authority.

Also, the Government of Karnataka hereby accord permission to exercise powers

and discharge functions of Industrial Township Authority by the Regional Development

Authority under sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 29 of the said Act.
