NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 4 of the

Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act No. 12 of 1964) and in partial

modification of earlier notification issued in this regard and after taking into

consideration the population, area, land revenue and demands from the public

having regard to the administrative convenience, the government of Karnataka

hereby proposes to alter the limits of Savadatti taluk in Belagavi District by

excluding 35 villages of Muragod Hobli and by including the said villages in the

Bailhongal taluk of Belagavi District, as specified in the Schedule for the purpose

of the said Act.

Now, therefore, a notice is hereby published as required by section 6 of the

said Act for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby that the

proposal will be taken into consideration after the expiry of thirty days from the

date of its publication in the official Gazette.

Any objections or suggestions which may be received by the State

Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of

period specified above will be considered by the State Government. Objections and

suggestions may be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue

Department, Room No. 506, 5th Floor, M.S. Building, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi,

Bengaluru – 560001.

SCHEDULE

The circle and villages Specified in column (3) of the table below shall be

excluded from the limits of the specified in column (2) and shall be included within

the limits of the taluk specified in column (4) thereof.

publication of the final notification in the Official Gazette by the State Government
