NOTIFICATION

Whereas the Notification to constitute the City Municipal Council of

Humnabad of Bidar District from the present Town Municipal Council of

Humnabad as mentioned in Schedule-A along with boundaries mentioned in

Schedule-B was published as required by section-3 read with section-9 and 361 of

the Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964, vide Government Notification No:UDD 141

MLR 2023; dated 03/11/2025 by providing thirty days time and was published in

part-III, No.689, Karnataka Gazette Extraordinary, dated 04/11/2025 inviting

objections from all persons likely to be affected thereby on or before thirty days

from the date of publication of the above Notification.

And whereas the Notification was made available to the public on the day of

publication;

And whereas no objection/suggestion has been received within the stipulated

period;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section-3, 9 and 361

of the Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964, the Hon’ble Governor, hereby declare

the present Town Municipal Council of Humnabad, Bidar District as mentioned in

Schedule–A, along with the boundaries mentioned in Schedule–B, as the “Smaller

Urban Area” and further specify such area as the “City Municipal Council of

Humnabad” having regard to:

The population of such area is not less than fifty thousand;

ii.

The density of population in such area is not less than one thousand five

hundred inhabitants to one square kilo meter of area;

iii.

The revenue generated for local administration from such area from tax

and non-tax sources in the year of the last preceding census is not less

than rupees nine lakhs per annum or a sum calculated at the rate of

rupees forty-five per capita per annum, whichever is higher;

iv.

The percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities is not less

than fifty per cent of the total employment.

south.

West: The western boundary of Humnabad town is Humnabad village survey No.

264 starting from the south corner and Survey No. 264, 264 crossing the western

boundary and survey no. 173 is up to the south-east three from there survey No.

273, 272, 271. 270, 269. 274, 275, 276, 277, 282, 283 West boundary 284, 285.

286, 297, 302. 303, 337 goes up to the corner and turns west from the survey no.

127, 129 crosses the southern boundary and survey no. 129 west north and NH

No. 65 now cross Manikanagar village survey no. 61 reaches the south western

corner and hence to survey No. crossing the western boundary of 61 the same

survey no. 61 goes up to the northwest corner.

North: The northern boundary of the Humnabad municipality is Manikanagar

village survey No. 61 starts at northwest corner and Manikanagar suvey No. 61

starts at the northwest corner and Maniknagar Survey No. 61, 60, 39, 49 through

northern boundary of survey No. 49 runs to the northwest corner and from there

survey no. crosses the 50 mark survey no 40 joins the southeast corner and survey

no 40 and runs from the western boundary of survey no 3 and from there survey

no 38 northern from their survey no. 37 runs up to south west and hence to

Maniknagar survey no. 37 and 36 western boundary survey no 35 runs up to

northern corner. From there it is Humnabad survey No. 426 givers the north west

corner and from there it is parallel to ditch 426, 437, 438, 439, 517, 518, 520,

522, 1, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 18, 21, 22, 30, 35, 36, 72, 73, 75, 76, 77. 78 boundary

from survey no. 78 runs up to the northeast corner.

South: From South East Corner of Survey No. 146 of South corner Humnabad Sy

No.146, 147, 148, 149 South border and survey no 224 south east and South

border Sy No. 226, 227 pass through East border. Then east turns Sy No. 227,

228, 229, 230, 262, 263 264 South border passing and Survey No. 264 South

West Corner.
