NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Section 3 read with section-4, 9,

349, 351 and 355 of the Karnataka Municipalities Act 1964, His Excellency, the

Governor of Karnataka hereby propose to declare Grama Panchayat area of

Mannaekhelli of Bidar District with the areas mentioned in Schedule “A” along

with the boundaries mentioned in Schedule “B” as the “Transitional Area” and

further to specify it as “Town Panchayat of Mannaekhelli” and to constitute the

‘Town Panchayat’ with effect from the date of publishing this Notification in the

Official Gazette having regard to:

i. The population of such area is not less than ten thousand and not

more than Twenty thousand;

ii. The density of population in such area is not less than four hundred

inhabitants to one square kilometer of area;

iii. The percentage of employment in non-agricultural activities is not

less than fifty per cent of the total employment.

The notification is hereby published for the information of the Public. All

the persons, who would like to file any objection/suggestion to this Notification

are hereby required to submit the same with reasons in writing to the

Director, Directorate of Municipal Administration, 9^th Floor, V.V.Tower,

Bengaluru within 30 days from publication of this Notification in the Official

Gazette. Further, Notification will be taken up for final consideration after the

mentioned period of 30 days.

passes through Survey No. 185, 184, 183, 180, 179, 166, 165, 164, 163, 161, 140, 139

to Survey No 138 and from there it goes towards north passes through Survey No. 137,

133, 132, 128, 127, 126 and ends at Survey No. 125.
