NOTIFICATION-I
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the
Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the State
Government hereby declare that the area consisting of Devanahalli General Industrial
Area, Phase-I, Devanahalli General Industrial Area, Phase-II and Adinarayana Hosahalli
Industrial Area, Phase-II, Bengaluru Rural District with an extent of 3117.89 acres
occupied by industries as shown in the map enclosed herewith & consisting of areas
specified in Schedule A to be called as “the Devanahalli Special Investment Region”.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) & (3) of section 8 of the
Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the State
Government hereby designate Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB)
as the Regional Development Authority for “the Devanahalli Special Investment
Region” and is empowered to exercise all the powers and perform all the functions as
specified under section 15 of the said Act.

Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023).
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub Section (1) of
Section 29 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of
2023), “the Devanahalli Special Investment Region” shall deemed to be an Industrial
Township and the Government of Karnataka hereby declare that the Karnataka
Industrial Areas Development Board (Regional Development Authority) to be the
Industrial Township Authority.
Also, the Government of Karnataka hereby accords permission to exercise
powers and discharge functions of Industrial Township Authority by the Regional
Development Authority under sub-section (2) & (3) of section 29 of said Act.
