AGE LIMIT
(i) The applicants must have attained the age of 18 years as on the last date for submission of
application and must not have attained the age of

METHOD OF RECRUITMENT
Selection of candidates will be in accordance with the Provisions contemplated in

The Karnataka subordinate Courts (Ministerial and other posts)

Recruitment Rules 1982

The Karnataka subordinate Courts (Ministerial and other posts)
e.
Recruitment Rules (amendment) Rules, 2007.
f.
The candidates are required to attend ‘Skill Test’ in Typing and Interview. The marks obtained in the
Qualifying examination, Skill Test, and interview are considered.
9.
Applicant if elected shall be on Probation for two years from the date of Joining for duty.
10. No persons shall be eligible for appointment, if he/she is disqualified under the Karnataka Civil
Services (General Recruitment) Rule, 1977 or any other Rules in force amended from time to time.
11. If the applicant is already in Government Service, he/she has to submit his/her application through
proper channel.
12. No person who attempts to obtain extraneous support for his/her candidature from official or non-
official shall be eligible for appointment.
13. No applicant shall be appointed unless he/she satisfies the appointing authority that he/she is
physically fit to discharge the duties that he /she may be called upon to perform.
14. Candidates at the time of applying for the post should enclose the self attested copies of the

15. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
a. The Prescribed application forms may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar, Court of Small
Causes, Bangalore between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on all working days on payment of Rs.10/-
from 7.6.2010.
b. The applications shall be filled by the candidates, in their own handwriting
c. Candidates should submit a self addressed envelop (cover) duly stamped i.e., by affixing postal
stamp of Rs.5/- thereon along with his/her application, for intimating the date of Test/ interview
date and time by this office.
d. The prescribed fee for the post of Typist is Rs.100/- for all the candidates. For SC/ST candidates
the fee is Rs.25/- payable through Indian Postal Orders/Demand drafts only drawn in favour of
the Registrar, Court of Small Causes, Bangalore which should be enclosed along with the
application.
e. Candidates should submit their applications in the prescribed form completed in all respects,
along with the necessary testimonials so as to reach the undersigned either by post or in person
before 5.30 p.m. on 05.07.2010 which is the last date fixed for receipt of the applications.
f. The time limit, for submission of applications to all the applicants including those in-service is one
and the same.
g. Defective or incomplete applications submitted without necessary enclosures will be rejected and
no further correspondence will be entertained in the matter.
h. Applications received after due date will be rejected.
i. Candidate should submit only one application. If more than one application is submitted only one
application complete in all respects, if any, will be considered.
j. One recent passport size photograph of the candidate should be affixed on the application with

The earnest money deposit maybe forfeited:
i) If the Tenderer withdraws the Tender after tender opening during the period of tender
validity ii) If the Tenderer does not accept the correction of the Tender Price, pursuant to
Clause 24; iii) In the case of a successful Tenderer, if the Tenderer fails within the specified
time limit to a) Sign the Agreement or b) Furnish the required Security Deposit.
7. Within 20 days of receipt of the Letter of Acceptance, the successful Tenderer shall deliver to
the Employer a Security Deposit in Banker’s Cheque/Demand Draft/Pay order/Bank
Guarantee in the form given in Section 10 or Specified Small Savings Instruments pledged to
EE/PRED/Tumkur for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional
security for unbalanced tenders in accordance with Clause 25.5 of ITT and Clause 44 of the
Conditions of Contract.

10. The contractors should submit consent letter from electrical contractors to execute electrical
items of the work.
11. Achieved a minimum annual turn over (in all class of Civil Engineering Construction works
only) at least 80% of any one financial year out of previous five years 2005-06 to 2009-10
(derived as billing for civil works in progress and completed)
12. Satisfactorily completed as a prime contractor at least one civil work of similar nature i.e.,
water supply consisting of Jack well, Rising Mains, WTP & Storage Reservoirs of value not
less than 30% in any one financial year of previous five years.
Note: Financial turnover and cost of completed works of previous years slab be given weightage
of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring it to current year price level.
13. Tools and machinery: The contractors should either own or lease of plant and machinery.

14. Details of Field laboratory equipments for testing materials required for various items of
works.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. The intending contractors are informed to note that they should abide by the detailed
instructions and conditions contained in the E-TENDER NOTICE (KW-4) and other conditions
listed in the E-tender document which forms the part of the E-tender documents to be availed
by them.

to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason there of.

undersigned during office hours on all working days. It may noted that, if any of the dates
mentioned below happens to be a holiday, the next working day holds good in lieu of the date
mentioned.
6. The tender submission shall be in 2 sets Part-I in two sets manually to be submitted on the
day of Submission to the undersigned within specified time, Part-II i.e. the works quantity and
rate Portion i.e., Schedule-B to be submitted through e-tendering only.

specification & as per approved tender schedule.
10. After opening technical bids, cost bids will be opened for those who qualified in technical bids.
11. If the approved tenderer quote the amount below the sanctioned amount in such cases the
tenderer should have to produce difference amount, of D.D/FDR at the time of agreement.
