3. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT :

The selection will be made as per Karnataka Sub-ordinate Courts (Ministerial and Other Posts) (Recruitment)

basis.
4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT.
1)
The term of appointent is from the date of appointment till 31-03-2015 which can also be terminated at any time
by the orders of Hon’ble the Chief Justice.
2)
This appointment is on full time basis and during the term of appointment the supporting staff will not be entitled to
take up any other employment whether it is part-time or so.
3)
The term of appointment will not confer any right on the appointed candidate for being made permanent in the
said posts or in any other posts in the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore, or in any other Judicial District
in the State.
4)
The place of work will be at any one of the Judicial Districts in the State, which may be changed at any time, by
the Order of Hon’ble the Chief Justice.

METHOD OF RECRUITMENT :
Section of Candidates shall be made in accordance with the provisions contemplated in the Karnataka Sub-ordinate
courts (Ministerial and other Posts)(Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules 2007.
Tests will be conducted for the posts of Stenographers/Typists. The candidates will have to appear before the Prl. District
and Sessions Judge, Dharwad in the premises of District Court Dharwad at their costs.
For the post of Stenographers :
1)
A dictation at the rate of 120 words per minute will be given for a duration of about five minutes and the candidates shall
transcribe the notes within forty five minutes.
2)
This test will carry maximum of 100 marks & minimum marks required for a pass shall be fifty.

For the post of Typist :
A dictation for duration of about fifteen minutes will be given and the candidates shall type the matter dictated. This test
shall carry maximum of hundred marks and minimum marks for pass shall be fifty.
For the post of First Division Assistant:
The Selection for the post of First Division Assistant will be made on Merit Basis.
