Whereas, the draft of the Karnataka Municipalities (Recruitment of Officers and Employees) (Amendment) Rules which the
Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by clause(g) of sub-section(2) of Section 323 of the
Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act No.22 of 1964) is hereby published as required by sub-section(1) of Section 323
of the Act for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken
into consideration after fifteen days from the date of its publication in the official gazette;
And whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 25-8-2011.
And whereas, the objections and suggestions received in respect of the said draft has been considered by the State
Government;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 323 of the Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964 (Karnataka
