Whereas the Deputy Commissioner, Tumkur is Satisfied

That the area situation. Sy. No+. P.T.S. Nos. Extent and boundaries and other details of which are specified in schedule

below situated within the limits of Town Municipal Council, Pavagada, Tumkur District, are a source of danger to the health, safety and

convenience of the public of the area and of its neighborhood by reason of the said area being insanitary, squalid and overcrowded.

II.

The buildings in the said area used or intended to be used for human habitation area over crowded and unfit for human

habitation for want of repair, stability, freedom from damp, natural light and air, water supply, drainage and sanitary convenience.

III.

It is hereby notified for the information of all persons interested in the said area that in exercise of the powers delegated

in Government notification No.HUD 49 MCS 85 dated 17^th April 1986 to exercise powers under section 3 of the Karnataka Slum

areas(improvement and clearance) Act. 1973. Karnataka Act 33 of 1974 to declare the said area to be a slum area.

IV. Any representation against the proposed action may be made to the Deputy Commissioner, Tumkur District, Tumkur

within 15 days from the date of publication of this notification.
