The draft of the following rules further to amend the Karnataka General Marine Fishing (Regulation) Rules, 1987, which the

Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Karnataka Marine Fishing

(Regulation) Act, 1986 (Karnataka Act 24 of 1986) is hereby published as required by sub-section (1) of the said section for the

information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after

thirty days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft

before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the State Government, Objections and suggestions if any be

addressed to the Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, 4^th floor, Vikasa Soudha, Bengaluru-1.

DRAFT RULES

1.

Title and commencement,- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Marine Fishing (Regulation)(Amendment)

Rules, 2015.

(2) They shall come in to force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.

2.

Amendment of rule 14,- In Karnataka Marine Fishing (Regulation) Rules, 1987, in rule 14,-

(i)

In sub-rule (1), for the words “Rupees one Hundred” the words “Rupees One Thousand” shall be substituted; and

(ii) In sub-rule (2), for the words “Rupees Fifty” the words “Rupees Five Hundred” shall be substituted.

In Government order No: HFW 18 PTD 2006, dated: 19-01-2006, regulations called “Admission to Post Graduate Ayurveda,

Homeopathy, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy Courses Regulations, 2006” were issued.

The Government quota seats for M.Sc., Nursing Course available in Government Nursing College and in Private Nursing

Colleges have been reserved 50% for in-service and 50% for merit candidates as per the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for

Admission to M.Sc., Degree Course in Nursing (Amendment) Rules, 2002 vide reference (1) above.

In Government Order No: HFW 365 RGU 2014, dated: 22-11-2014, the percentage of seat sharing in the Private Nursing and

Physiotherapy Colleges in the State has been published with respect to Post Graduate Courses for the academic year 2014-15, in the

ratio of 25:75 as 25% for the Government Quota and 75% for the Management Quota respectively. This ratio is applicable for 2015-16

academic year also.

The Managements of Private Nursing and Physiotherapy Colleges in the State shall fill their management quota seats by

following the norms as prescribed by the Government of Karnataka and the concerned Apex bodies.

In Notification No: HFW 330 RGU 2015, dated: 16-09-2015, Seat matrix for M.Sc., Nursing and M.P.T. Courses conducted in

Government and Private Nursing and Physiotherapy Colleges for the academic year 2015-16 were published vide reference (2) above.

As of now, the Director of Medical Education has proposed the additional seat matrix of Post Graduate Courses in Private Nursing

Colleges in the State for the academic year 2015-16 vide reference (3) above.

Therefore, the Government of Karnataka hereby determines the intake under Section 45 (10) (b) of the Rajiv Gandhi

University of Health Sciences Act, 1994 and publishes the additional seat matrix there under for M.Sc., Nursing Courses conducted in

Private Nursing Colleges applicable for the current academic year 2015-16 as specified in the Annexure I to II.

The Tuition fee Chargeable from the candidates for Government seats in Private Nursing Colleges shall be as per the rates

prescribed in the Government Orders issued from time to time.

and taking into consideration the factors specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of rule 3 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Rules, 1966 such as the

population, area under land revenue and having regard to the administrative convenience, the Government of Karnataka proposes to

issue a Notification to alter the limits of Jalige of Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District as specified in Schedule-I and to constitute

a new village called Basavanapura as specified in the Schedule-II.
