1.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 82 (5) of the Electricity Act, 2003 read with Karnataka Electricity Reforms Act,

1999, the Government of Karnataka hereby appoint Sri. H.M. Manjunatha as Member of the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory

Commission.

2.

The person appointed as Member, before taking charge of the office as Member shall divest himself from the interest, if any, in the

business mentioned under section 5(3) of the Electricity Reforms Act, 1999, as also under Section 85(5) of the Electricity Act,

2003 and he shall not have any financial or other interest which is likely to effect prejudicially his function as Member as per

conditions of his appointment.

3.

Before taking charge as Member of the Commission, the person to be so appointed should, as a condition precedent, vacate

office, if any, under the State/Central Government or any Public Undertaking or any Government body held by him or is otherwise

gainfully employed or engaged in the service of any person, either by way of resignation or taking voluntary retirement from such

service.

4.

The term of Member shall be for a period of 5 (Five) years from the date of his assumption of charge of the post or till he attains

the age of sixty five years whichever is earlier and he shall not be eligible for re-appointment for the same post in the Commission

at any time after the expiry of his term of appointment.

5.

The appointment of Member is governed by the terms of appointment laid down in Section 89 of the Electricity Act., 2003 read

with Section - 6 of the Karnataka Electricity Reforms Act, 1999, KERC (Appointment of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1999 and

the KERC (Chairman and other Members, Remuneration, Allowance and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2000 as amended from

time to time.

of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide Notification No. FEE 115 EPC 2011, dated: 21.12.2015.

The term of Shri Lakshman as Chairman ended on 20.12.2018 and Dr. Sandeep Dave, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to

Government, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department has been appointed as interim Chairman of the Karnantaka State Pollution

Control Board until the new Chairman to the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board in nominated by the Government.

1.

Must have passed SSLC Examination or Possesses an

Senior Shorthand Examination in Kannada /English

conducted by Karnataka Examination Board or possesses

an equivalent qualification.

Computer knowledge is essential.

3.

A certified course conducted by the Khadi and Village

Industries Commission is preferable.

Must have passed Pre University Certificate Examination or

Commercial Practice Diploma conducted by the Karnataka

State Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.

2.

Senior Typewriting and Senior Shorthand Examination in

Kannada conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education

Examination Board or possess an equivalent qualification.

3.

Provided that a weightage of five percent shall be added to

the aggregate percentage of marks secured by a candidate

on the qualifying examination if he has passed proficient

grade examination in Kannada Shorthand.

4.

Must have passed certification course of 3 months in

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act No. 12 of 1964)

and taking into consideration the factors specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of rule 3 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Rules 1966 such as the

population, area of the village the demand under land revenue in the village and other head of account and having regard to the

administrative convenience the Government of Karnataka proposes to issue a Notification to alter the limits of Maranagere village of

Sira Taluk ,Tumakuru District and to constitute a new village called Maranagere Gollarahatti as specified in schedule along with maps

with old survey numbers and new survey numbers assigned to them.

Now therefore in exercise of the power conferred by section 6 of the said Act, notice is hereby given for the information of all

the persons likely to be affected thereby that the proposal will be taken into consideration on or after thirty days from the date of

publication of the notification in the Official Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said

proposal before the date specified above will be considered by the State Government. Objections or suggestion may be addressed to

the Deputy Commissioner, Tumakuru District, Tumakuru.

SCHEDULE-I

Land bearing survey numbers of the village and survey numbers of the areas specified in column (2) of the table below shall

be excluded from the limits of said village of Sira Taluk in Tumakuru District to form a new revenue village called as Maranagere

Gollarahatti of Sira Taluk Tumakuru District along with the survey numbers included in column (4) thereof.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka act no 12 of 1964)

and taking into consideration the factors specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of rule 3 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Rules 1966 such as the

population, area of the village the demand under land revenue in the village and other head of account and having regard to the

administrative convenience the Government of Karnataka proposes to issue a Notification to alter the limits of Marabahalli village of

Madhugiri Taluk Tumakuru District and to constitute a new village called Pemmaiahnapalya as specified in schedule along with maps

with old survey numbers and new survey numbers assigned to them.

Now therefore in exercise of the power conferred by section 6 of the said Act, notice is hereby given for the information of all

the persons likely to be affected thereby that the proposal will be taken into consideration on or after thirty days from the date of

publication of the notification in the official Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the state Government from any person with respect to the said

proposal before the date specified above will be considered by the state Government. Objections or suggestion may be addressed to

the Deputy Commissioner, Tumakuru District, Tumakuru.

SCHEDULE-I

Land bearing survey numbers of the village and survey numbers of the areas specified in column (2) of the table below shall

be excluded from the limits of said village of Madhugiri Taluk in Tumakuru District to form a new revenue village called as

Pemmaiahnapalya of Madhugiri Taluk Tumakuru District along with the survey numbers included in column (4) thereof.
