Further to the Notification No. 5/2001 dated
15-10-2001 regarding Removal of name of
Sri M. K. Balakrishnan, Advocate, Kannur, Kerala State,
(Presently at 37, Lawyers Chambers, Supreme Court,
New Delhi enrolled with the Bar Council of Kerala on
14-12-1985 vide Roll No. K/328/1985) by the Disciplinary
Committee No. III of the Bar Council of Kerala vide Order
dated 6-10-2001 in D.C. Case No. D.C. 49/2000, it is
hereby notified that the punishment awarded to
Sri M. K. Balakrishnan is modified by the Disciplinary
Committee of the Bar Council of India to 5 years period
of suspension from practice as an Advocate from
16-8-2007 instead of debarring him permanently vide
Order dated 29-7-2007 of the Disciplinary Committee of the
Bar Council of India in D. C. Appeal No. 54/2001.

Whereas the Disciplinary Committee of the Bar
Council of Kerala vide Judgement in D.C. case
No. 19/2001 suspended practice of Sri P. S. Ramesh
Kumar, Advocate, Trivandrum for a period of 5 years and
a cost of Rs. 5,000 and whereas the Disciplinary
Committee of the Bar Council of India had rejected the
D.C. Appeal No. 21/2003 filed by Sri P. S. Ramesh Kumar
vide Judgement dated 5-8-2007. It is hereby notified for
general information that Sri P. S. Ramesh Kumar
(Punnapuram) s/o. late K. Prabhakaran Nair, VRA-53,
Sasi Vihar, M. S. Nair Road, Vanchiyoor, Trivandrum
enrolled on 22-2-1981 vide Roll No. K/134/1981 has been
suspended from practising as an Advocate for a period
of 5 years from 5-8-2007 and also pay a cost of Rs. 5,000
to the Council vide Order dated 5-8-2007 (D. C. Appeal
No. 21/2003).
