Sealed and competitive tenders are invited from the

manufacturers under “Two cover system” for the supply

instruments and equipments for the use of Livestock

Products Inspecting Office, Ernakulam for the year 2007-08.

First Cover (Cover A-Technical) will have the following

enclosuresó

1.

Specification of the item without rate and list of

places where it has been supplied and installed .

2.

Letter from original manufacturer (in case of

agents) regarding assurance about supply of spare parts,

AMC conditions (Period of visits in a year etc.), warranty

conditions, year of warranty etc.

3.

Attested copy of Sales Tax Clearance and

Turnover Certificate obtained from Sales Tax Authorities.

4.

An affidavit in stamp paper worth Rs. 50

notarized by a Notary Public of either the place where the

person making the affidavit is residing or of

Thiruvananthapuram.

5.

Copy of ISO Certification, if any;

6.

A covering letter with name, address, Pin Code,

Tel/Fax No., E-mail address and other details of the firm in

which the list of enclosures are specified and address to

the Director, Department of Animal Husbandry,

Thiruvananthapuram.

Pro forma for the above certificates are attached

separately.

Second Cover (Cover-B-financial) will have the following

enclosures.

1.

Quoted rate (inclusive of Tax).

2.

Original tender form duly signed by authorized

signatory.

3.

Preliminary agreement in Kerala stamp paper

worth Rs.50.

4.

EMD. 1% of total cost of items quoted by

means of Demand Draft in favour of the

Director of Animal Husbandry, Kerala payable

at Thiruvananthapuram.

Both covers (A & B) must be effectively sealed and

put in another cover, which is also sealed and

submitted.

Cover A & B will be opened as per the

schedule given below.

The cover B of rejected tenderers will be

returned without opening.

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of

Laboratory Equipments and Chemicals to Chemistry

laboratory for Rs. 87,500 and to Physics laboratory for

Rs. 87,500 at a total cost of Rs. 1,75,000 (Rupees one lakh

and seventy five thousand only) to Govt. college,

Malappuram during 2007-08, under plan scheme.

The

envelope containing the tender should be superscribed

“Tender for the supply of Laboratory Equipments and

Chemicals under plan scheme during 2007-08” and

addressed to the Principal Govt. College, Malappuram,

Munduparamba P. O., Malappuram District, Kerala,

Pin-676 509.

The last date of receipt of tender is at

1 p.m. on 26-12-2007. Late tenders will not be accepted

on any account.

The tenderers may make an application

to the Principal to obtain requisite tender form in which

tender should be submitted.

The original tender form

duly filled only will be accepted.

Application for the tender form should be

accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 450 (Rupees for

hundred and fifty only including VAT) which is price fixed

for a tender form and which is not refundable under any

circumstances. Rate of Duplicate tender form is Rs. 225

(Rupees two hundred and twenty five only). The tender

forms are not transferable. Sale of tender forms will be

closed at 2 p.m. on 19-12-2007. Cheques, Drafts and

Postal Orders will not be accepted towards the cost of

tender form and the tender forms will not be sent by V.P.P.

Those who require tender form by registered post should

sent the cost tender form Rs. 487 (Rupees four hundred

and eighty seven only) including postal charges for

registered post by money order (For original). Every

tenderer should be accompanied by an agreement in the

Kerala stamp paper worth Rs. 50. The articles should be

supplied on or before 31-1-2008 in the college laboratories

at your expense.

The period of firmness of rate quoted will be up to

31-3-2008. Rates, ST and condition of supply of articles

should clearly be stated seperately in respect of each item.

The tenders should be accompanied by an EMD 1%

(one percent) of the quoted value in the form of demand

draft in favour of the Principal. The minimum EMD

should be Rs. 30 (Rupees Thirty Only). Tenders without

sufficient EMD are liable to be rejected. EMD will not

carry any interest. The firm who are exempted from

furnishing EMD should be enclosed the attest copy of

exemption order. More details can be had from the

college office during the working days.

The undersigned will have the right to cancel or

extent the tender at any time without further notices.

Annual Repair & Maintenance Contract for 5 years after

Purchase of Books-2007 for Central Library, Nursing

1. Flat discount rate should be quoted for the Books.

2. Complete list of Books, that the tenderer can

supply should be submitted along with the tender,

with price of each book.

3. EMD by way of D. D. drawn in favour of

Principal, Nursing College, Mulamkunnathukavu,

Thrissur at the rate of 1% of the total cost of

books quoted (subject to a maximum of Rs. 5000)

should be submitted with the tender.

4. Agreement in the prescribed form should be

finished along with the tender.

5. All books should be latest edition if not otherwise

specified.

6. Books should be displayed, in the Central Library

for verification and spot selection if directed.

7. The successful tenderer has to furnish the

authentic price list of publishers for effecting

payment.

8. Exchange rate of foreign books shall be as per GOC

report prevailing at the time of Supply. A copy of

each of the GOC report should be furnished with

the invoice of Supplied books relating to the

month of supply.

9. The books included in the tender alone will be

considered for purchase. Substitution will not be

permitted under any circumstances.

10. The successful tenderer should complete the

supply of all books within the stipulated time

shown in the supply order.

11. All books should be original edition only.

12. If any CDs or other accessories are attached

alongside, it should also be supplied alongwith, free.

The tenders should be superscribed with tender

number and name of the store articles and addressed to

Thiruvananthapuram-10. The late tenders will not be

accepted. The tenders will be opened at the time

mentioned above in the presence of the tenderers or their

authorized representatives (with proof of Identity) who

may be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the

Director General of Police, obtain requisite tender forms on

which the tenders should be submitted. In the case of

Foreign Equipments the rate is to be quoted in Indian

Money also. Preference will be given to those who are

ready to supply the item without opening Letter of Credit.

No advance payment can be made for procuring any of

the above items. Intending tenderers may also include for

installation of technical items, training of officers and on-

site support such as at least 3 years of warranty and

thereafter A. M. C./A. T. S. for a period of 3 years on a

turn key basis at a reasonable cost (to be specified along

with the quotation) in the tenders.

Application for tender forms should be accompanied

by a cash remittance price fixed for a form which is not

refundable. The sale of tender form will be closed at

4 p.m. on 14-12-2007. Cheques, drafts, postage stamps,

etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of forms nor

will the forms be sent by VPP. However money orders

sent in the name of the Additional Assistant Inspector

should include the postage/courier charges for sending

tender Documents. The money order along with the

Earnest Money Deposit @ 1% of the quoted value

should be furnished in favour of Additional Assistant

Inspector General of Police, Police Head quarters,

Thiruvananthapuram-10. The firms which are exempted

from furnishing Earnest Money Deposit should produce a

copy of relevant authorized documents for verification.

Specifications and list of items of each tender shall

be obtainable from PHQ with the tender forms. The firms

should also furnish the detailed specifications, make,

brochures, technical support network in Kerala etc. of the

equipments along with the tenders. The tenders without

any detailed specifications of quoted items, brochures,

make etc. will be rejected forthwith. The tenders without

separate envelope and not superscribing the tender

number etc. will be rejected.

The tenders should also mention the details of

AMC/ATS and warranty etc. along with the tender

documents. Preference will be given to the products

quoted by the manufacturer or their authorised dealers

having authorisation from the original manufacturer.

Similarly preference will be given to the tenders having

experience of supplying similar/same items to Govt.

Departments or Organisations.

As the items are urgently required, the selected

bidder will have to supply the item within a month. In

case for any pressing circumstance there will be delayed

supply the tenders must cite adequate, justifiable grounds

in writing.

5 p. m. In the event of the firms are not able to show live

demonstration they need to convince the Technical

Committee about such inability and resort to Computer

Animation. Scale Models, Videos, Slide Shows etc. Police

Department is not liable to send any individual

communication. In some cases Police Department is not

responsible to return the samples after verification. The

rates quoted should be valid and firm till 31-3-2008.

The Director General of Police is empowered to reject

Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be

opened at 11 a. m. on 4-1-2008 in the presence of such of

the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may

be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may, on application to the

undersigned to obtain the requisite tender forms on which

tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender

form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of

Rs. 416 including VAT which is the price fixed for the

same and which is non-refundable under any

circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale

of tender form will be closed at 12 Noon on 3-1-2008.

Drafts, Cheques, Postage stamps etc. will not be accepted

towards the cost of forms, nor will the form be sent per

V. P. P. Duplicate tender forms, if required will be issued at

Rs. 208 including VAT per copy.

As per tender condition the tenderer should send

along with his tender an agreement executed and signed

in Kerala Stamp Paper of value Rs. 50 and an EMD of 1%

of the total cost of the articles tendered. Tenders without

agreement and EMD will be rejected.

Those who want the tender form by post should

send Rs. 446 including VAT by Money Order to the

undersigned. Outside firms who desire to get Kerala

Stamp Paper should send an additional amount of Rs. 60

along with the cost of tender forms.
