supply of Lab equipments and Chemicals to the

Department of Polymer Chemistry of Government College,

Attingal for the year 2008-09 under the Plan Scheme for

Rs. 72,000.

The tenders should be superscribed as “Tender for

the supply of Lab Equipments and Chemicals 2008-09”

and should be addressed to the Principal, Government

College, Attingal. The last date of receipt of tenders by

Laboratory Equipments to Physics Department of the

College for Rs. 65,000 under Development of Laboratories

(Plan) during 2008-09. The tenders should be superscribed

as “Supply of Laboratory Equipments under Development

of Laboratories (Plan) during 2008-09” and addressed to

the Principal, PTM Govt. College, Perinthalmanna,

Malappuram District, Pin-679 322, Kerala State. The last

date and time of receipt of filled tender is on 31-10-2008

Every tender should be completely filled, signed and

accompanied by Demand Draft towards 1% of total cost

of equipments to be quoted. Short/Term/Fixed Deposit

receipt should not be accepted towards E.M.D. E.M.D.

carry no interest. The rate, VAT and other charges should

be quoted separately for each item. The successful

tenderers should supply the equipments within one

month after the receipt of the supply order at their own

expenses. The firms who are exempted from furnishing

E.M.D. should attach true copy of the exemption order

along with tender documents. Every tender should execute

an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 along

with the tender.

The undersigned will have the right to cancel or

extend the tender formalities without any further notice.

comprehensive AMC for 5 years.

Intending tenderers may an application to the District

Medical Officer (H), Kannur, obtain the requisite tender

forms against cash remittance in which the tender to be

submitted Cheques, Postal Orders, Demand Draft etc. will

not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms and the

tender forms will not be sent by VPP.

List of Spare Parts will be had from the office along

with tender forms.

CONDITIONS

Tender forms are neither transferable nor the cost

of refundable.

A preliminary agreement in the format given in

the tender form is to be executed in Kerala Stamp

Paper of value of Rs. 50 by the successful

tenderer.

An EMD at 1% of the cost of items tendered for

shall accompany the tender by demand Draft

drawn in favour of District Medical Officer of

Health, Kannur subject to a minimum of Rs. 1,000.

The firms who are exempted for furnishing EMD

should enclose the attested copy of the

exemption order. EMD will not cary any interest.

Rates and sales tax and condition of supply of

articles should be clearly stated in respect of

each item.

Articles should be supplied within 15 days of the

receipt of supply order at their own at District

Medical Office (Health), Kannur.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of such

of the tenderer’s or their authorised representation

who may be present at the time of opening of

tender.

Due to any reason of the day of opening the

tender is declared as a public holiday, the same

will be opened on the next working day.

The District Medical Officer of Health, Kannur

and the Purchasing Committee to right to accept

for the supply of Survey Stones in Thrissur District” and

indicating the details of the properties which should not

(subject to a minimun of Rs. 70,000) of the tenders along

In the case of successful tenderers, they should

pledge the properties to the value of fifty percent of the

total value shown in the solvency certificate with the

Government till the expiry of the contract or they should

of an amount of not less than 5% of the value of the

contract.

This is in addition to the security of 5 percent

of the value of the contract.

The

Stones

required for the traverse survey of block boundary,

Khandom boundary, Trijunction, Town Survey etc., must

have appropriate symbols as per rules, which will be

specified in the intend.

Each tender, should remit a sum of Rs.7000 before

12 Noon on 28-11-2008, in this office towards the earnest

money deposit and the receipt issued from this office

should be attached with the tender, Earnest Money

Deposit may be either in the form of Crossed Bank Draft

or Treasury Savings Bank Deposit.

The tenders without

receipt of the earnest money deposit will not be

considered.
