on 17-11-2008 and will be received upto 3.30 p. m. on the

same day.

The received tenders will be opened at 4 p. m. on

18-11-2008 by the Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales

Division, Thiruvananthapuram or by any other officer duly

authorized by him in the presence of the tenderers or their

authorized representatives who may be present at the time

of opening tenders.

If the tender could not be conducted due to any

technical or unexpected reasons on the above date, the

tenders for the above works will be conducted on the

next working day at the same venue and time. If the

tender could not be conducted due to any unexpected

reasons on that day also, the next tender date will be

19-11-2008 at the same place and time specified above.

Tender forms can be had from the Office of the

undersigned on application in writing or on direct

remittance of cost of tender form. Tenders are not

transferable.

E. M. D. for the work should be made through

Demand Draft drawn from the any Nationalised Bank in

favour of Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales Division,

Thiruvananthapuram.

Each and every tender should accompany preliminary

agreement in Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 duly signed by

the tenderer. The undersigned reserves the right to reject

any tender without assigning any reason thereof. All

other conditions prevailing in the Kerala Public Works

Department and Kerala Forest Department are

applicable to this tender notification also.

ERRATUM NOTIFICATION FOR TENDER/AUCTION

SALE OF SANDALWOOD

No. MDE 3991/2007.

18th October 2008.

The following quantities of Sandalwood (wood, roots

billets, chips and saw dust) stacked at Sandal depot

Godown in Marayoor Range and notified for sale by

public tender/auction at 10 a. m. on 29th October, 2008 at

the Sandal Depot Marayoor is postponed to

19th November 2008 (Wednesday) due to certain unforseen

reasons. All the sale conditions, venue and time of

auction already notified are binding on this sale also. This

tender/auction will be conducted by the Divisional Forest

Officer, Sandal Division, Marayoor or any other Officer

authorized for the purpose, in the presence of the Chief

Conservator of Forests and the Conservator of Forests,

High Range Circle, Kottayam as per the General sale

conditions published in the 26th Kerala Gazette dated

24-6-2008 in page Nos. 253 to 259 of the Forest sheet

vide No. Pro. (5) 2613/2008 dated 12-6-2008 of the Chief

Conservator of Forests (Protection) and detailed sale

conditions for Sandalwood sale published in the Forest

Sheets of Kerala Government Gazette No. 41 dated

14-10-2008 vide Notification of even No. dated 17-9-2008.

If the date fixed for the auction/tender happens to be

holiday or general strike, the auction/tender will be

conducted on the next working day at the appointed time

and place.

If after commencing the tender/auction the

office receives a message that a holiday is declared on

that day, the office will stop tender/auction proceeding

and it will be resumed on the next working day at

10 a. m. The tender form will be available for sale from the

Forest Range Office, Marayoor and from Divisional Forest

Office, Marayoor one week before the date of auction for

a price of Rs. 100+VAT and the sale of tender forms will

be closed at 8 a. m. on the date of auction. The tender

will be received in Range Office, Marayoor until 9 a. m. of

the date of auction. The tenders received after specified

time and defective/incomplete tender forms will be

rejected. The tenderers should clearly record the lot

numbers and the rate offered for each lot intended to be

purchased and properly sign the tender forms.
