WHEREAS the Government of Kerala has published Act No. 21 of 2005, namely, the Kerala Forest (Vesting and

Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act 2003, which came into effect from 2nd day of June 2000 for the

conservation and management of ecologically fragile lands, prevention of degradation of the Eco-System and Biological

Diversity therein.

Now, it is hereby notified for the information of the public that the ownership and possession of the land as per the

details shown in the schedule hereto, in the District of Wayanad has been vested with the Government of Kerala free

from all encumbrances and the right, title and interest of the owner or any other person thereon shall stand extinguished

from the date of commencement of the Act, i.e. 2nd June 2000.

The publication of the notification is made as required under Section 3(2) of the Kerala Forest (Vesting and

Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act, 2003 as per Government Notification No. 15567/Leg. B1/01/Law dated

3rd May 2005 and published in Kerala Gazette No. 929 dated 3rd May 2005.

published in Kerala Gazette No. 1, dated 2-1-2001 as Sl. No. 100. In that Notification, Taluk, the Sy. No. with Sub division,

extent and boundaries were shown erroneously whereas as the correct details in respect of the land notified as Ecologically

Sealed tenders are invited till 3 p. m. on 10-12-2008

from approved contractors for the following work by

Divisional Forest Officer of Timber Sales Division,

Thiruvananthapuram for and on behalf of Governor of

Kerala. The tenders will be opened at 3.30 p. m. in the

presence of bidders present on that date. The tenders can

be sent by post also so as to reach this Office in time.

Name of Work with Estimate PAC—Construction

of Type-I quarters at Achencoil Government

Timber Depot (Spill over Work)—Rs. 4,90,000.

EMD—Rs. 12,250.

Cost of tender forms—Rs. 700 + VAT.

Qualification of Contractor—‘C’ and above.

Period before which work is to be completed—3

months from the date of agreement.

The details and necessary documents will be

obtained from the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer,

Timber Sales Division, Thiruvananthapuram on any

working days till 12 Noon of tender date. Tender form

can be obtained by remitting money either directly or

through money order with necessary application. The

cost of tender form will not be returned. The terms and

conditions applicable to tender formalities in Kerala Public

Works Department will be applicable to this work also.

Tender forms are not transferable. A preliminary

agreement in Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 in prescribed form

should also be submitted along with the tender. The

tender without the preliminary agreement will be refused.

If the tender date becomes holiday, the tender will be

conducted on the next working day.

writing and on payment of the cost of tender form and

taxes in cash (not refundable) upto 1 p.m. on 1-12-2008.

The filled up tenders will be received in this office upto

3 p.m. on 1-12-2008 and opened by the undersigned or an

officer authorised by him on the same day at 3.30 p.m. at

the office of Divisional Forest Officer, Ranni in the

presence of the contractors attending on the date. If the

due date happens to be a holiday, the next working day

will be the due date.

The tender forms are not transferable. The Earnest

Money Deposit noted against the work should be paid

along with the tenders by Demand Draft (Cheque will not

be acceptable) pledged in favour of the undersigned

payable at any nationalized Bank/Scheduled Bank.

Incomplete tenders and tenders without EMD are liable to

be rejected. The undersigned reserves the right to reject

any tender without assigning any reasons thereof. All

other conditions prevailing in the Kerala PWD and Forest

Department are applicable to this tender also. The

tenders not containing the prescribed preliminary

agreement in Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 will be summarily

rejected. If there is no response to any of the works

included in this notification, the same will be again

tendered on 5-12-2008, as per the same conditions

mentioned above, at the same time and venue.

Tender forms and other conditions can be

obtained from the office of the undersigned on application

in writing and on payment of the cost of the tender form

either in cash or by Money Order (not refundable) upto

1 p.m. on 4-12-2008 and will be opened by the under-

signed or his deputee on the same day at 3.30 p. m. in the

presence of the applicants attending on that date. If the

due date happens to be a holiday, the next working day

will be the due date. Cost of tender forms will not be

refunded at any instances.

The tender forms are not transferable. The Earnest

Money Deposit noted against the work should be paid

along with the tenders by DD ( Cheques or Fixed

Deposit receipts will not be acceptable) in favour of the

undersigned payable at any Nationalized Bank at Munnar.

Incomplete tender or tenders without EMD are liable to be

rejected. The preliminary agreement in Stamp Paper worth

Rs. 50 should be enclosed with the tender. The undersigned

reserves the right to reject any tender without assigning

any reason. All other conditions prevailing in the Kerala

Public Works Department and Forest Departments are
