EMD—1% of PAC in the form of DD drawn in favour of the undersigned payable at SBT, Vellayambalam.

Security Deposit—5% of Total Contract Amount inclusive of EMD furnished as above.

Original—Rs. 400+VAT 12.5%.

Duplicate—Rs. 200+VAT 12.5%.

items for Government Ayurveda College, Kannur for the

financial year 2008-09.

Tenders should be superscribed “Tender for the

supply of Wooden/Steel Furniture for 2008-09” and

addressed to the Principal, Government Ayurveda College,

Kannur, Medical College P.O., Pariyaram-670 503. Last

date fixed for the receipt of sealed Tenders in this office is

at 3 p. m. on 17-12-2008. The late tenders will not be

submitted along with an agreement signed and executed

in Kerala Government Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 and EMD

at the rate of 1% of the total cost of the items tendered

for. The tenders will be opened on 17-12-2008 at 11.30

a.m. in the presence of such tenderers or their authorized

representatives.

Rate should quoted against payment in Indian Rupees

only. The tenderers, without the agreement and sufficient

Earnest Money Deposit and the tenders that do not

satisfy the conditions are liable to be rejected without

any notice. Cheques, Drafts, Postage Stamps etc., will

not be accepted towards the cost of the tender forms.

Intending tenderers may on application to the

Controller of Stationery, Kerala, Thiruvanan-

thapuram-695 033 obtain in the requisite tender

forms on which the tenders are to be submitted.

Sale of tender forms will be closed at 24 hours

before the time fixed for the opening of the tender.

Cost of tender forms will be accepted either in cash

(remitted in office) or by money order only and

should be sent to the Controller of Stationery

Thiruvananthapuram-695 033. (Name of the officer

should not be mentioned). Cheques, Postage

Stamps and Demand Drafts will not be accepted

towards the cost of tender forms and the tender

forms will not be sent by VPP. The cost of tender

forms is not refundable under any circumstances.

The tender number and the name of the item for

which the tender form is required should be clearly

specified in the application/M.O. Coupon. The

tenderers may request to quote for branded items

only. The tender forms are not transferable. The

last date and time for receipt of tender is 3 p. m.

on the day fixed for opening of tender and the

tender will be opened at 4 p. m. on the same day.

The cover containing the tender shall be

appropriately superscribed with the tender number

and name of item and addressed to the Controller

of Stationery, Thiruvananthapuram-695 033. Late

tenders will not be accepted. The tender will be

opened in the presence of the tenderers or their

authorized representatives who may be present at

the time of opening of the tender.

Every tenderer shall send along with his tender a

preliminary agreement executed on a Kerala stamp

paper worth Rs. 50 and furnish 1% of the total

cost of materials as Earnest Money Deposit, Earnest

Money Deposit will be accepted in Cash, Demand

Draft or FDR taken in favour of Controller of

Stationery with due endorsement. No firms will be

exempted from the payment of EMD and SD Vide

G.O. (P) No. 448/2005/Fin, dated 13-10-2005.

No firms are entitled to get “D/C” Forms against

the supply.

A specimen of Preliminary agreement deed is

appended to the tender form. Tender received

without the Agreement deed, Earnest Money

Deposit and samples will not be considered.

Preferance will be given to goods with ISI mark.

Other things being equal preference will be

given to the goods with ISI certification mark and

produce a certificate of conformity from the Bureau
