Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply

of Laboratory Equipments to B.Sc. Chemistry,

Biotechnology and Physics Department of Government

Arts College for the Academic year 2008-09 under Plan

Fund 2008-09.

The tenders should be superscribed as “Tender

No. 2/2008-09. The tender for the supply of Lab

Equipments and Chemicals for the Department of

Chemistry, Biotechnology and Physics 2008-09 (Plan

Fund)” and should be addressed to the Principal,

Government Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram. The Last

date of receipt of tenders by the Principal is on or before

27-12-2008, 2 p.m. The tenders received after the last date

and time will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened at

3 p.m. on 27-12-2008 in the presence of tenderers or

their authorized representatives who may be present at

that time.

Intending tenderers can have tender forms on

demand from the Principal, Government Arts College,

Thiruvananthapuram between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on all

working days on payment of Rs. 400+VAT 12.5%

(Rs. 450) per copy which is the price fixed for a form and

is not refundable at any circumstance. The tender forms

are not transferable. Duplicate tender forms if required

will be issued at Rs. 200+VAT 12.5% (Rs. 225) per copy.

Those who are intending to obtaion the tender forms by

post should submit their request with a self addressed and

large envelope affixing postage stamp for Rs. 50. Money

Order alone will be accepted towards the cost of tender

forms. Sale of tender forms will be closed at 2 p.m. on

26-12-2008. Cheques, Demand Draft and Postage Stamp

will not be accepted towards the cost of forms. An

agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 is to be

executed while submitting the tenders. The rate quoted

should be inclusive of all taxes and other expenses and

should be firm for a period of two months. A cash

deposit equivalent to one precent of the cost of items

tendered is to be deposited as earnest money. The item

should be supplied to the Principal, Government Arts

College, Thiruvananthapuram at the expenses of the

tenderer. Face value of the tender is Rs. 2,18,000 (Rupees

Two Lakh Eighteen Thousand only).

Purchase of all Electronic Equipments will be

subjected to the technical evaluation by LBS/competent

authority. Expense for the same shall be met by the

tenderer.

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of the

following items specified in the schedule to Government

Polytechnic College, Thrikkaripur.

Tender should be superscribed as the “Tender for

the Supply of Tools and Equipments in Electronics

Engineering Lab Section” and addressed to the Principal,

Government Polytechnic College, Thrikkaripur-671 349 so

as to reach the same on or before the last date fixed for

the purpose. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders

will be opened in the presence of the tenderers or their

authorised representatives who may be present at the time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the

undersigned obtained requisite tender form (with list of

item and specification, etc.) The tender form can be

obtained from the office at the rate of Rs. 400 + S. T. each

in cash and at the rate of Rs. 200 + S. T. each for

duplicate copy of tender between 9 a. m. and 2 p. m. of

any working day. The tender form will be obtained

through post by sending money order of Rs. 50 extra.

The tenderer should send along with his tender form,

an agreement executed and signed in Kerala stamp paper

worth Rs. 50 and 1% EMD of the total cost of articles

tendered. Tender without agreement, EMD, etc. will be

rejected. Cheques, drafts, postal stamps, etc. will not be

accepted as tender cost. If Kerala Stamp paper required

sent Rs. 75 by money order to the addressee. More

details can be had from this office in working hours.
