Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply

of following items to the Chemical Examiner’s Laboratory,

Thiruvananthapuram. The estimated amount is Rs. 13.25

Lakhs (Rupees Thirteen lakh twentyfive thousand only).

The tender should be superscribed “No. S-2982/08/CE

(I) for the supply of Laboratory Equipments” addressed to

the Chief Chemical Examiner to Government, Chemical

Examiner’s Laboratory, P. H. Lab Compound,

Red Cross Road, Thiruvananthapuram-35, Kerala. The last

date for receipt of completed tenders is 5-1-2009 at 4 p. m.

Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be

opened at 3 p. m. on 6-1-2009 in the presence of such of

the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may

present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the

undersigned obtain the requisite tender forms with details

of items on which tenders are to be submitted.

Application for the tender forms should be accompanied

by a cash remittance of Rs. 788 (inclusive of S. T.) which

is the rate fixed for the original tender form and is not

refundable under any circumstances . The sale of

Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply

of computer and other related Equipments for Rs. 1,44,000

(Rupees One lakh fortyfour thousand only) for the

Commerce Computer Lab of B. J. M. Government College,

Chavara during the year 2008-09 under the assistance of

Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd., Chavara.

The tenders form and the list of materials can be had

from the college office on payment of Rs. 700 for original

and Rs. 400 for duplicate. 12.5% VAT amount also may be

remitted additionally. Those who desires to get tender form

by Registered Post, should forward a self addressed

envelop 30 × 15 cm. in size and stamped for Rs. 52 along

with the request and cost of tender forms by money order

(No other mode of payment is acceptable). The cost of

tender form is not refundable in any circumstances and

Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 (Vide Page No. 6 of the

tender form). The Earnest Money Deposit is required

Rs. 1% of the total cost of the materials quoted in the

deposit subject to minimum Rs. 50. Firms exempted from

EMD should produce relevant records from the competent

authority.

An officer from this office will visit the Tender’s

office to check and certify the quality of the stock,

which is kept ready for despatch and the stock

will be accepted only after that.

The undersigned shall be under no obligation to

acept the lowest or any other tender and shall be

entitled to accept or reject any tender in part or

full without assigning any reason whatsoever.

A copy of the latest (current and valid) Income

Competitive sealed tenders are invited from original

equipment manufacturers or authorized resellers having

authorised service facility/arrangements across the State of

Kerala for the supply/replacement of the following items as

per specification for the use in the Forest Head Quarters

and Sub Offices of the Department spread over all the 14

Districts of Kerala as detailed below :

department, which we intends to dispose as is where is.

The interested firms can also quote rate on buy back

available with the department. They can inspect the items

on any working days between 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. one

day before the last date for submitting the tenders.

Separate rates should be quoted for the supply of new

Computers/UPS/Printer and purchase of existing

Computers/UPS/Printer. The rates will be evaluated

separately and the final decision on sale of existing

Computers/UPS/Printer and purchase of New Computers/

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

FOR ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT

MANUFACTURER (OEM)

OEM of equipment supplied should have been in the

business of manufacturing equipments of similar

specifications and providing its on site/on-line warranty

services in India for the past 5 years.

OEM shall have at least 10% of market share

comparable for sales of this equipment or this series of

equipments in India during the past 3 years, as in market-

survey reports published by the MAIT/NASSCOM/

DATAQUEST/IDC etc.

OEM shall confirm that the equipment supplied are in

its current manufacturing range and have the latest

technical features and specifications.

OEM shall have its Certified Service Centre in

Thiruvananthapuram with OEM-trained Service Personnel

engaged in Maintenance Support Service of similar

equipment for the past 3 years.

OEM shall provide Comprehensive On Site Warranty and

Technical support for the above equipment for 3 years

from date of its installation, and agree to support or

upgrade the product for at least 2 years after expiry of

warranty.

AMC rate after the end of Warranty Period for

3 years, to the subsequent 2 years period to be separately

indicated.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Equipment to be supplied consisting of hardware or

software or services, shall have product features and

technical specifications as per the best of industry

standards, Printed Technical Specification Sheet and User

Manual shall be supplied as part of the Equipment/

Software delievered.

WARRANTY

Equipments supplied shall carry a comprehensive

warranty against manufacturing defects and non-

performance for a period of Three Years from the date of

installation or 30 days from the date of delivery, whichever

is earlier. Warranty shall include service support for

installation, operation, management, maintenance and

update of the equipment without incurring any additional

cost during the warranty period.

The technical and qualifying bid should be kept in

one sealed cover (Cover A) and financial bid in another

sealed cover (Cover B) and both covers should be

enclosed in third sealed cover superscribing “Technical and

Financial bid for the supply of Computers and

Peripherals”.

The tender documents can be had from the Office of

the

Chief

Conservator

Forests

(FMIS),

3rd Floor, Vanalakshmi’, Forest Head Quarters,

Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram-695 014 on any

working day during office hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on

payment of Rs. 700 plus tax. The tenderer should quote

the rate inclusive of all taxes, freight charges, loading,

unloading, installation and commissioning etc. Issue of

tender will not mean that the agency is otherwise

qualified. The tender should enclose a DD to the value of

2% of the quoted amount obtained from a Nationalised or

Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of the Chief Conservator

of Forests (FMIS), payable at Thiruvananthapuram towards

EMD. The sealed cover containing the tender and required

details should reach the Office of the Chief Conservator of

Forests (FMIS) on or before 3 p.m. on 5th January 2009

and will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the

presence of those bidders or authorised representatives

present. Kerala Forest Department will not be responsible

for the delay, loss, non-receipt if tender documents sent

by post etc. Tenders received late or without EMD will

not be considered. If the last date fixed for receiving the

tender happens to be holiday to this office, the next

working day will be treated as the last date. The bidder

should enclose the list of supply order executed in Kerala

for the last one year with their contract address.

The PAC amount is Rs. 15 lakhs.

Kerala Forest Department reserves the right to accept

or reject any or all the tenders received without ascribing

Sealed competitive and superscribed tenders are

invited from reputed manufacturers/dealers to supply Spare

Parts mentioned in the schedule to the various Hospitals

attached to the District Medical Office of Health, Kannur

for the year 2008-09.

Tenders should be superscribed “Tenders for the

supply of Spare Parts for the repair for Hospital

Equipments of Kannur District for the year 2008-09” and

addressed to the District Medical Officer of Health,

Kannur, Civil Station P. O., Kannur-670 002. Tender should

quote for all the items (Name of Spare Parts) shall be

quoted including comprehensive AMC for 5 years.

Indending tenderers may an application to the

District Medical Officer (H), Kannur, obtain the requisite

tender forms against cash remittance, in which the tender

to be submitted Cheques, Postal Orders, Demand Draft

etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms

and the tender forms will not be sent by VPP.

Tender forms are neither transferable nor the cost

refundable.

A preliminary agreement in the format given in

the tender form is to be executed in Kerala Stamp Paper

of value of Rs. 50 by the successful tenderer.

An EMD at 1% of the cost of items tendered for

shall accompany the tenderer by Demand Draft drawn in

favour of Disrict Medical Officer (H), Kannur subject to

the minimum of Rs. 1,000. The firms who are exempted

for furnishing EMD should enclose the attested copy of

the exemption order. EMD will not carry any interest.

Rates and Sales Tax and condition of supply of

articles should be clearly stated in respect of each item.

Articles should be supplied within 15 days of the

receipt of supply order at their own cost at District

Medical Office (H), Kannur.

Tenders will be opened in the presence of such

of the tenderes or their authorized representatives who

may be present at the time of opening of tender.

Due to any reason if the day of opening the

tender is declared as a public holiday, the same will be

opened on the next working day.

The District Medical Officer (H), Kannur and the

purchasing committee possess the right to accept or reject

any tender without assigning any reason thereof.

Successful tenderer should furnish 5% of total

cost as Security Deposit.
