In exercise of the powers conferred on me under

Section

8

(a)

of

the

Customs

Act,

1962,

I, B. Syed Mohammed , Commissioner of Customs,

Cochin, hereby notify the area of Cochin International

Airport Ltd. detailed in Schedule below including the

Airport Apron of the runway adjacent to this area to be

the

place

for landing of imported goods and the loading of export

goods or any class of such goods, including mail and

passenger baggage, subject to the observance of relevant

provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 and other

instructions issued by the Government of India from time

to time. This is in addition to the area already notified

vide Notification No. 3/99 dated 27-7-1999 and 3/2005

dated 9-9-2005.

(b)

of

the

Customs

Act,

1962,

I, B. Syed Mohammed , Commissioner of Customs,

Cochin, hereby declare the following area of Cochin Port

Trust, Willingdon Island, Ernakulam District in the State

of Kerala as per limits specified in the Table below to be

the “Customs Area” for the purpose of storing Imported

Timber Logs imported at the Port of Cochin and approve

the said area under Section 8 (a) for unloading and storing

of Imported Timber Logs. This is in addition to the

adjacent area already notified vide Notification

No. 4/2006 dated 14-7-2006 (18800 M. Sq.) and

Notification No. 4/2007 dated 25-5-2007 (6075 M. Sq.)
