Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the

supply of Lab Equipments and other accessories to the

various Departments of Govt. College, Kasaragod

under State Plan (2008-09) Starting of New Courses.

The tenders should be superscribed “Tender for the

supply of Lab Equipments and other accessories to the

various Departments of this College, under State Plan

(2008-09) Starting of New Courses.” and addressed to the

Principal, Government College, Kasaragod, Vidyanagar. P. O.,

Kasaragod.

The last date and time for the receipt of the tender

will be 21-2-2009, 2 p.m. and the same will be opened at

4 p.m. on the same day in the presence the tenderers or

their authorized representatives who may be present at

that time. Late tender will not be accepted on any

account.

Approximate Cost–Rs. 5,00,000.

The application for the tender form should be

accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 728

[Rs. 700+ 28 (S. T.)] being the cost of tender form

including sales tax. Tender forms are not transferable.

Sale of tender form will be closed at 2 p. m. on 21-2-2009.

Cheques, D. D. or the Postal Orders etc. will not be

accepted towards the cost of tender form. Those who

require the tender form by post, should send an amount

of Rs. 778 [Rs. 728+ 50 (Postal charge) ] by Money Order.

Application for tender form, to be sent by post, will be

entertained only up to 12-2-2009, 2 p. m.

Rates and conditions for the supply of Lab

equipments, maximum period required for the delivery of

articles should clearly be mentioned. The rates should

remain stable till 31-3-2009.

Every tender should be accompanied by an

agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 and an

E. M. D. of 1% of the quoted value in the form of D. D.

in favour of the Principal, Government College,

Kasaragod.

Tender without E. M. D. will be rejected, but from the

firms which are exempted from furnishing E. M. D. on

production of clear documentary evidence. Whenever

purchase of computer is made, the machine with

accessories will be tested by L. B. S. or competent

authority and payment made after that.

The undersigned reserves the right to extend, cancel,

or reject the tenders without assigning any reason

thereof.

envisaged in Kerala Government Store Purchase Rules are

invited by the undersigned for the work detailed below

upto 1 p.m. on 24-2-2009.

Name of work—Building one Steel Passenger Boat as per

the specifications and design in the annexure I and

supply at Thekkady after carrying out trial run in

Periar Lake.

Approximate value of the work—Rs. 34 lakhs (Actual Cost

estimate may change based on the assessment of the

competent authority holding the powers to regulate

Inland Navigation in the State).

Cost of tender form—Rs. 5,100 + VAT @ 12.5%.

Sale of tender forms—Tender forms, tender schedule with

the annexures such as approved specifications,

design etc. will be sold from the office of the

undersigned from 10 a.m. on 15-1-2009. The forms

can be obtained by post also on written applications

along with the cost of tender forms by means of

Demand Drafts drawn in favour of the Deputy

Director (PT), PTR East Division, Thekkady, payable

at State Bank of Travancore, Kumily Branch. Money

Security Deposit & Agreement—The successful tenderer

will have to deposit a Security Deposit, for an

amount equal to 5% of the amount of contract and

will have to sign an agreement containing the general

and special conditions prescribed by Government.

Period of Completion & Guarantee—Period of completion

of the work will be three months from the date of

signing the contract. The boats should be

guaranteed for a minimum period of 2 years against

any manufacturing defect.

remittance of the prescribed rate. Kerala Stamp Paper

worth Rs. 50 required for executing the agreement along

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of the

following stores for the use of the Gold Purity Testing

Laboratory in Legal Metrology Bhavan at Kakkanad,

Ernakulam.

The tenders should be superscribed “Tender for the

Supply of Laboratory Equipments” and addressed to the

Controller,

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Late tenders will not be

accepted. The tenders will be opened at 11 a. m. on

25-2-2009 in the presence of such of the tenderers or their

authorised representatives who may be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the

Controller, Legal Metrology obtain the requisite tender form

by a cash remittance of Rs. 1040 (Rupees one thousand

and forty only) which is the price fixed for a form. The

tender forms are not transferable. Sale of tender form will

be closed at 3 p. m. on 24-2-2009. Cheques, Postal Orders

etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms,

nor will the forms be sent per V.P. P. Duplicate tender form,

The tender should be accompanied by an Earnest

Money Deposit equivalent to 1% of the total cost of the

articles tendered for as Demand Draft drawn in favour of

the Controller, Legal Metrology, Thiruvananthapuram

payable at Thiruvananthapuram together with an

agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50. The price

quoted for the equipments should be inclusive of all taxes,

and for minimum 1 year warranty. The tenderers may

quote for any one or more items. The undersigned will

have power to postpone/cancel the tender. The rate

tendered shall have validity upto 30-4-2009. If the last

date of sale/opening happens to be a holiday, tender will

be sold/opened at the same time on the next working day.

The supply should be effected within 7 days from the

date of hearing of the acceptance of tenders. The

undersigned reserves the right to reject any tender without

assigning any reason. If advance sample is required by

the undersigned before acceptance of tender, the tenderer

should supply the samples at Legal Metrology Bhavan,

18-2-2009 at 3 p.m. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The tenders will be opened at 11 a. m. on 19-2-2009 in

the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorised

representatives who may be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may, on application to the

undersigned to obtain the requisite tender forms on which

tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender

form should be accompained by a cash remittance of

Rs. 338 including VAT which is the price fixed for the

same and which is non-refundable under any

circumstances.

The tender forms are not transferable.

Sale of tender form will be closed at 2 p. m. on 17-2-2009.

Drafts, Cheques, Postage Stamps etc. will not be accepted

towards the cost of forms, nor will the forms be sent per

V. P. P. Duplicate tender forms, if required will be issued

at Rs. 169 including VAT per copy.

along with his tender an agrement executed and signed in

Kerala Stamp Paper of value Rs. 50 and an EMD of 1% of

the total cost of the articles tendered.
