Sri Mannampurathukavu Devaswom

dated 1-1-2007.

The Executive Officer of Sri Mannampurathukavu

Devaswom in his letter dated 1-1-2007 has reported that

the Trustee Board on 28-12-2006 had resolved to donate a

sum of Rs. 50,000 to Sri Pallikkara Bhagavathy Temple

for the Temple rennovation and Brahmakalasa

Maholsavam and has requested to accord sanction Under

Section 31 of the HR & CE Act.

The Assistant Commissioner has reported that

Sri Pallikkara Bhagavathi Temple is situated only

2 kms. away from Sri Mannampurathukavu Temple and is

badly in need of financial assistance. The expenses for

rennovation works of the temple comes around 20 lakhs.

The Executive Officer states that, Sri Mannampurathukavu

Devaswom has sufficient funds to render financial

Assistance.

The proposal was considered in detail with

reference to the decision of the Trustee Board and the

financial position of the temple. It is understood that

Sri Pallikkara Bhagavathy Temple is badly in need of

financial assistance for the rennovation works.

Considering the application of the Executive

Officer, the decision of the Trustee Board and the report

of the Assistant Commissioner and also the fact that the

donation is meant for the rennovation of an ancient temple

situated nearby Sri Mannampurathukavu Devaswom, it is

provisionally decided to accord sanction Under Section 31

of the Act to donate a sum of Rs. 50,000 from the

Devaswom funds to Sri Pallikkara Bhagavathy Temple for

the rennovation works and Brahmakalasa Mahothsavam.

If any body has any objections or suggestions in this

matter the same shall be given in writing before the

Commissioner within 30 days from the date of publication

of this notice in the gazette. An enquiry in the matter will

be conducted by the Commissioner at his office at 11 a.m.

on the 31st day of the date of publication of this notice in

the Gazette. If that day happens to be a holiday, the

enquiry will be conducted on the next working day.

If no objection of suggestions are received in the

matter within the above period the provisional

decision will be confirmed.
