(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate the general purpose.)

The land as per the schedule above was originally notified under Section 3 (3) of the Kerala Forest (Vesting and

Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Ordinance, 2000 vide Notification No. C4-21437/2000 dated 20-10-2000 and

published in Kerala Gazette No. 1, Volume 46 dated 2-1-2001 as Sl. No. 162. In that Notification, the Locality was shown

erroneously and Sy. No. with subdivision 85/K4 was omitted under Bit No.II whereas the correct details in respect of the

land notified as Ecologically Fragile land is shown in the revised schedule as above. Hence this Erratum Notification is

published with the intention to achieve the above objective.

It is hereby notified for the general information of the public that Teak Poles collected from Teak Plantation of

Kollathirumedu, Charpa and Athirappilly Ranges of Vazhachal Forest Division by thinning will be sold in Tender/Auction sale

subject to detailed Tender/Auction sale conditions published in the Kerala Gazette No. 26 dated

24-6-2008 in Page No. 253 to 257 of Chief Conservator of Forests (Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide

Notification No. Pro(5) 2613/2008 dated 12-6-2008 and other rules in force, as per schedule furnished below. Tender forms will be

available in Divisional Forest Office, Vazhachal Division, Chalakudy on payment of Rs. 100 plus S. T. and tenders received after

the stipulated date and time will not be entertained.

If the date fixed for Tender/Auction happens to be a public holiday, harthal

or strike, the Auction sale will be held on next working day at the schedule date, time and place.

Tender will be opened

immediately after auction sale and further action will be taken as per sale conditions.

Teak poles taken to stock up to a day before the auction will

also be included in sale. If there is no bid or part bid on the Idate of auction proposed, undisposed teak poles will be put up for

sale on subsequent dates as shown in the schedule at the same time and place.

The Auctioning Officer is empowered to conduct

auction completely or partly and postponement of auction without assigning any reason.

The remittance of the value and removal of timber should be as per prevailing terms and conditions and also as per the

rules in force.

It is hereby notified for the information of the public

that the Tender/Auction sale of machineries (shown in the

appended schedule) involved in the OR 15/04 of

Kollengode Forest Range and confiscated vide Order

No. CI-6901/04 dated 29-12-2005 of Divisional Forest

Officer, Nemmara will be conducted by the Divisional

Forest Officer, Nemmara or any other officer authorized by

him on 11-3-2009.

The tender/auction sale will be as per the sale

condition in the Notification No. Pro. (5) 2613/08 dated

12-6-2008 published in Gazette No. 26 dated 24-6-2008.

Sealed tenders are invited for the above tender/

auction sale. The tender form will be issued from this

office till 11 a. m. on the same day. The filled up tender

form should be submitted before 11.30 a. m. and will not

be accepted after 11.30 a. m. Those people who have

submitted tender form will only be permitted to participate

in Tender/Auction.

The sealed tender form shall be opened after the

auction in the presence of the tenders present. If the

date of auction happens to be a public holiday/harthal,

and nobody came forward to participate in Tender/Auction

sale on 11-3-2009 the same will be conducted on 12-3-2009

and 13-3-2009 at the same place and time.

CONDITIONS

1. The persons who intend to participate in tender/

auction may examine the confiscated materials in

Venus Industries, RVP Puthur, Eruthenpathy, Palakkad

with permission and presence of Range Officer,

Kollengode. No complaints about machineries will be

considered after tender/auction.

2. The persons who intend to participate in tender/

auction should produce any of the following to

prove their Identity (1) Certificate obtained from the

Village Officer (2) Election Identity Card (attested)

(3) Passport (attested).

3. The tender form will not be accepted after the time

prescribed.

4. The tender form in which the highest amount quoted

will be submitted to higher officers for consideration

and confirmation and EMD amount remitted by

others will be paid back.

5. The successful bidder should remit the 35% of sale

value including EMD on the auction day itself, if the

sale value is higher than EMD amount. The balance

amount and other taxes should be remitted and the

remove the machineries within 40 days from the date

of confirmation. If the same is not removed within

the above 40 days, another 30 days time will be

granted to remove the machineries on request of

bidder. The balance amount with 18% interest and

Rs. 20 per day for ground rent should be remitted

for the above 30 days.

Competitive tenders in sealed covers are invited

from the eligible registered contractors of the PWD, Kerala

for the works scheduled below. The interesting tenderers

should submit tenders in prescribed tender forms with the

name of work superscribed. The tender forms will be

issued from the office of the undersigned on working

days from 6-3-2009 to 10-3-2009 upto 1 p.m. The tenders

will be accepted upto 3 p.m. and the tender will be

opened at 4 p. m. on 10-3-2009 at the office of the

undersigned in the presence of tenderers who choose to

be present. If the tender could not be held on 10-3-2009,

it will be held on 16-3-2009 or 20-3-2009 at the same

place and time.
