The candidates who have secured 45 (Forty Five)

marks and above are included in the Main List of this

Short List. The requisite marks have been lowered to the

extent necessary in respect of the Supplementary Lists.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes

included in the Short List who are required to produce

Non Creamy Layer Certificates as per GO(P) No. 36/2000/

SC/ST/DD dated 27-5-2000 shall produce the same along

with the other documents mentioned above or as and

when called for such candidates in the main list who fail

to produce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificate will

not be entitled to the benefit of Community reservation

and will be considered as Open Competition candidates.

As regards such candidates in the Supplementary Lists of

Other Backward Classes, their Register Numbers will be

deleted from the Short List without further notice, if they

fails to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate.

The place, date and time of interview will be

intimated in due course.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of

answer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts will

be rechecked only after the publication of Ranked List if

the prescribed fee of Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty only) is

remitted in any one of the treasuries in the State by chalan

under the Head of Account “0051 PSC-105 State PSC 99

Examination Fee”. Applications for rechecking of answer

script should be submitted in the prescribed form

available free of cost from the Enquiry Sections of the

various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or

download and printed in A4 size paper from the

Commission’s Website/www.keralapsc.org or photocopied

there from. The original chalan receipt for the prescribed

fee should be produced with the application for

rechecking. Applications for rechecking received from

candidates whose answer scripts have been invalidated

will not be considered. Candidates whose register

numbers are included or not included in the Short List

and Ranked List can apply for rechecking of their answer

scripts, within one month from the date of publication of

the Ranked List.

Valid applications for rechecking addressed to the

District Officer, K. P. S. C. District Office, Pattom P. O.,

Thiruvananthapuram should reach this office within 30

days from the date on which this Notification or Ranked

List is officially released by the Kerala Public Service

Commission. Applications for rechecking received after

the prescribed time limit or not in the prescribed form will

not be entertained.

The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

In the case of candidates who send applications for

rechecking in the prescribed form within the prescribed

time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above,

the marks awarded will be rechecked and the result of the

rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this

office.

The following list contains the names of candidates

found suitable for selection to the post of ASSISTANT

SALESMAN on Rs. 2610-3680 in Kerala State Civil

Supplies Corporation Limited, Category No. 231/2005 in

Alappuzha District on the basis of the written test held

on 19-8-2006 arranged in the order of merit. The list is

brought into force with effect from 30-12-2006.

The Ranked List will be in force till the publication

of a new Ranked List after the expiry of the minimum

period of one year or till the expiry of 3 years whichever

is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment in

accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation

and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable

against the vacancies reported to the Commission during

the period of pendency of the list. As the advice for

appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies,

there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the

list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in

the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all

for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their

names in the list.

The candidates who have secured 75 marks and

above in the OMR test are included in the main list of

the ranked list. The cut off marks have been lowered to

the extent necessary in respect of the candidates under

the supplementary list.

According to the existing procedure revaluation of

scripts is not allowed. Answer Scripts will be re-checked

to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no

mistake in the totalling of marks for various answers. Re-

checking of answer scripts will be done on payment of Rs.

10 (Rupees Ten only). The fee should be remitted in any

of the Treasuries in the State under the head of Account

“0051 PSC 105 State PSC ’99 Examination Fee”. The

applications for rechecking should be submitted in the

prescribed form available free of cost from the enquiry

sections of the various offices of the commission or

downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the

commission website www.keralapsc.org or photo copied

there from. The Original Chalan Receipt together with

the application for re-checking should reach the District

Officer, KPSC District Office, Alappuzha within two months

from the date of publication of the Ranked List. The fee

once remitted will not be refunded on any account. The

result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidate

from this office.

Entries put in Column 4 (Community) are based on

the Communities specified by the candidates in their

applications and proved by them with necessary

documents. The candidates whose Communities have not

been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their

applications should intimate the fact to the District Officer,

KPSC District Office, Alappuzha within one month from

the date of publication of the list to get the benefit of

reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence

of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any, the

candidate will be advised as incorporated in the list.
