The High Court of Kerala will remain closed for the

Onam Holidays, 2009 from 29-8-2009 to 5-9-2009 (both

days inclusive) as already notified. The Vacation Court

sittings during the Onam Holidays shall be on 31-8-2009.

Under Section 8 of the Kerala High Court Act,

1958, the Honourable Chief Justice is pleased to nominate

the following Honourable Judges as Vacation Judges for

hearing all urgent matters which are required to be

immediately or promptly dealt with during the Onam

Holidays, on Monday, 31st August, 2009.

Only really urgent matters including company

during the Onam Holidays, provided they are

accompanied by memo giving reasons for urgent posting.

4.

Matters to be moved before the Vacation Judge/

Bench may be filed in the Filling Section of the Registry

between 10.15 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. on all days except

Sundays and other public holidays. Unless otherwise

directed by the Vacation Judge/Bench, no matter shall be

sent to the Judge/Bench on the same day of its filing.
