22nd July 2009.

The Ranked List for the post of Last Grade Servants

(Various Departments) on Rs. 2610-3680 (PR) (Category

No. 56/2006) in Alappuzha District (No. 220/08/DOA) was

published on 18-9-2008. The List II of the Ranked List

consisting of candidates for being filled up against the 3%

vacancies earmarked for PH candidates as per G. O. (P)

No. 50/07/SWD dated 15-9-2007 was temporarily

withheld. The following is the list of candidates who are

found eligible to be included in List II on the basis of the

Objective Type (OMR valuation) Test held on 30-6-2007,

arranged in the order of Register Numbers and in no way

indicates respective rank on the basis of the marks

secured in the examination. Alphabet ‘A’ should be

prefixed to the Register Numbers in the list to denote

Alappuzha District. Register Numbers of those candidates

who are included in the existing Ranked List and those

who were found unsuitable in the suitability assessment

held on 16-7-2008 and those who were absent for the

suitability assesessment held on 16-7-2008 have been

The following list contains the name of candidates

found suitable on the basis of the result of the Objective

Type (OMR Valuation) Test held on 1-3-2008 for the

post of Excise Guard on Rs. 3050-5230 (PR) in the Excise

Department in Ernakulam District arranged in the order of

merit. The Ranked List is published on the basis of the

Gazette Notification for the post dated 12-3-2007 with

Category Number 81/2007. The Ranked List is brought

into force with effect from 27-7-2009 and will be in force

till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry

of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three

years whichever is earlier. Candidates from the list will be

advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and

orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from

time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to

the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the

advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of

vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates

included in the list will secure appointment. The

candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation

will have no claim at all, for appointment on the basis of

the inclusion of their names in the list.

The candidates who have obtained 50 (Fifty ) marks

and above have been included in the Main List of this

Ranked List. The cut off marks have been lowered to the

extent necessary in respect of candidates under the

reservation group of Communities.

Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their

OMR answer sheet (Part A & Part B) relating to this

selection shall remit the fees of Rs. 200 in any of the

Treasuries in the State (Head of Account 0051 PSC-800-

other Receipts 99 other receipts). The duly filled in

application in the prescribed form (available from the

Commissions website www.kerala.psc.org) along with the

original chalan should be submitted to the Deputy

Secretary (Examinations), Kerala Public Service

Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram-4 within one

month of the date of publication of this ranked list. A

Copy of an answer sheet will be issued only once to a

candidate. Copies of OMR answer sheets invalidated

due to any defect will not be issued. Candidates are

prohibited from applying for a copy of an answer sheet

which is not their own, and legal proceedings will be

initiated against those who do so.

According to the existing procedure, revaluation of

answer script is not allowed. But answer scripts will be

rechecked, if the candidates apply for rechecking remitting

the prescribed fee of Rs. 50 in any one of the Treasuries

in the State under the Head of Account “0051-PSC-105-

State PSC-99 Examination fee”.

Application for re-checking of answer script should

be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost

from the Enquiry Section of the various offices of the

Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed

in A4 size paper from the Commission’s website:

www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from.

Applications submitted in any other manner will not be

considered.

Applications for rechecking received from candidates

whose answer scripts have been invalidated will not be

considered. Candidates whose Register Numbers are not

included in the Ranked list are advised to refer to

Notification No. ERV 2328/08/EW dated 3-11-2008 for the

Register No. of invalidated answer scripts and the reason

thereof.

The application for rechecking along with the original

chalan receipt should reach the District Officer, Kerala

Public Service Commission District Office, Thrikkakkara

Grama Panchayat Building, Kakkanad, Ernakulam within

one month from the date of publication of the Ranked List.

Applications for rechecking received after the prescribed

time limit or not in the prescribed form will not be

entertained. The Fee once remitted will not be refunded

on any account. In the case of candidates who send

applications for re-checking in the prescribed form within

the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt

as stated above, the marks awarded will be re-checked and

the result of the rechecking will be intimated to the

candidates from this office.

Entries are based on the communities specified by the

candidates in their application forms and proved by them

with necessary documents. The candidates whose

communities have not been correctly noted in the list as

proved by them in their application should intimate the

fact to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service

Commission District Office, Kakkanad, Ernakulam within

1 (One) month from the date of publication of the Raked List

to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled
