Applications are invited for registration/approval from
Manufacturers/Companies for the supply and installation
of Micro Irrigation (Drip/Sprinkler Irrigation) systems in
Kerala under Centrally Sponsored Scheme during the year
2009-10 to reach the undersigned on or before 25th
November 2009 at 3 p. m.
I. Companies should ensure the following details
while registration/approval
(1)
Companies either manufacture all the major
drip/sprinkler components within their factories
or
in
collabration
with
specialized
manufacturers and should declare the technical
details of components proposed to be
manufactured and supplied.
(2)
Ensure the quality of product, right design
and prompt free after sale services at least for
three years and set up service centres at the
grow root level.
(3)
The company must manufacture at least
laterals and emitting service (other than micro
tube) and must provide guarantee of quality
assurance of other components which is not
manufactured by them.
(4)
The company must supply the BIS marked
quality materials only. In case the company
intends to supply imported components they
should have the prior approval of the
Government of India/NCPAH.
(5)
The companies will have its own processing
systems but are requires to submit the same
to the State along with the request for
registration. The installation and transportation
of changes should also be submitted per
hectare basis.
(6)
The materials should be supplied directly by
the companies only or their authorized
distributors/dealers. In all cases companies
should authenticate the invocies.
(7)
The registered manufacturer should pay
Rs. 500 as a applicable fee for at the time of
application and Rs. 1,000 as registration fees
after selection.
II. The application should contain the following
documents
(1)
An agreement in Kerala Government Stamp
Paper worth Rs. 50 and prescribed that the
components prices shown in the price list
submitted along with Registration/Approval
will not changed during execution and abide
Government of India guidelines.
(2)
Price list of all components.
(3)
List of authorized dealers in Kerala with their
area of operation. Full address, phone number
etc.
All the conditions laid down on the Government of
India guidelines for the implementation of the scheme
2005-06 is applicable in the registration/approval
procedures.

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of laboratory
equipments and chemicals to Chemistry laboratory for
Rs. 75,000 and to Physics laboratory for Rs. 17,075 at a
total cost of Rs. 92,075 (Rupees ninety two thousand and
seventyfive only) to this College during 2009-10 under Plan
Scheme. The envelope containing the tender should be
superscribed ""Tender for the supply of Laboratory
Equipment & Chemicals under Plan Scheme during
2009-10'' and addressed to the Principal, Government
College, Munduparamba P. O. Malappuram District, Kerala,
Pin-676 509., The last date of receipt of tender is at
2.30 p. m. on 25-11-2009. Late tenders will not be accepted
at any account. The tenders will be opened at 3 p. m. on
the same day. The intending tenderers may make an
application to the Principal to obtain the requisite tender
form in which tender should be submitted. The original
tender form duly filled only will be accepted.
Application for the tender form should be
accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 1,688 (Rupees
one thousand six hundred and eightyeight only)
including VAT. Rate of duplicate tender form is Rs. 900
(Rupees nine hundered only), which is price fixed for a
tender form and which is not refundable under any
circumstance. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale of
tender forms will be closed at 2 p. m. on 25-11-2009.
Cheques, drafts and postal orders will not be accepted
towards the cost of tender form and the tender form will
not be sent by V.P.P. Those who require tender form
registered post should sent the cost of tender form
Rs. 1,725 (Rupees one thousand seven hundred and
twenty five only) including postal charges for registered
post by money order. Every tender should be accompanied
by an agreement in the Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50.
The articles should be supplied within 10 days on receipt
of the Purchase Order in the College Laboratories at your
expenses.
The period of firmness of rate quoted will be up to
31-3-2010. The rates quoted should be including all kind of
taxes. The tenders should be accompanied by an EMD
1% (One percent) of the quoted value in the form of
Demand Draft in favour of the Principal. The minimum
EMD should be Rs. 30 (Rupees thirty only). Tenders
without sufficient EMD are liable to be rejected. EMD will
not carry any interest. The firm who are exempted from
furnishing EMD should be enclosed the attested copy of
exemption order. More details can be had from the college
office during the working days.
The undersigned will have the right to cancel or
extend the tender at any time without further notice.

Tenders should be superscribed as “Tender

be received upto 1 p. m. on 25-11-2009 and will be
opened at 3 p.m. on 25-11-2009 in the presence of the
tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be
present at that time. Late tenders will not be accepted.
Intending tenderers may send an application to the
Secretary, Kerala Public Service Commission and obtain
the requisite tender forms. Applications for the tender
form should be accompanied by a cash remittance/
M.O./D.D. (favouring Secretary, Kerala Public Service
Commission) of Rs. 1,688 (Rupees One thousand six
hundred and eightyeight only) including S.T., which is
the price fixed for a tender form and is not refundable
under any circumstances. The tender forms are not
transferable. Duplicate tender forms, if required will be
issued at a cost of Rs. 844 (Rupees Eight hundred and
fortyfour only) per copy. The sale of tender forms will be
closed at 12 Noon on 25-11-2009. Cheques, Postal Orders,
Postal Stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost
of tender forms nor will the forms be sent by VPP. Kerala
Stamp Paper will be supplied to the intending tenderers
outside Kerala for execution of agreement along with the
tender in case they request for the same and remit Rs.80
separately ie. Rs. 50 for Stamp Paper and
Rs. 30 towards incidental expenses. Money Order alone
will be accepted for this purpose.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The make, model, year of manufacture of the
equipments quoted etc. should be clearly
mentioned.
2. The period of guarantee should be specified. All
charges, taxes, duties and levies should be clearly
indicated.
3. The items should be supplied to the Office of
the Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom,
Thiruvananthapuram-4 or at the District Offices or
Regional Offices of the Commission at the
expense of the tenderer.
4. The installation, commissioning and initial
operation to the satisfaction of the Kerala Public
Service Commission will be the responsibility of
the supplier.
5. The payment will be made after completion of
supply and after installation and commissioning
subject to certification by our Technical Experts
as to the quality of the system supplied the
efficiency and proper working on commissioning.
6. In case of under performance during the
guarantee period the firm shall replace the
equipment. If the equipment has to be replaced
for under performance, during the guarantee
period, the period of guarantee will recommence
from the date of replacement.
