The tender forms can be had from the office of the undersigned from 14-12-2009 upto 1 p. m. on 19-12-2009
during office hours on application in writing proving the eligibility and on payment of cost and VAT. Tenders in sealed
covers superscribing the name of work should reach the undersigned on or before 3 p. m. on 24-12-2009 by Registered/
Speed Post. Tenders received after 3 p. m. on 24-12-2009 due to postal delay or on any other reasons will not be
considered. Department will not be responsible for such delay. If the last date fixed for submission of tender is declared
to be holiday, it will be accepted till 3 p. m. on the next working day.
Preliminary Agreement is to be signed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 and an EMD as Demand Draft pledged
in favour of the Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engneering South Circle, Kamaleswaram, Thiruvananthapuram should
also be accompanied along with the tender. Tenders submitted without enclosing the preliminary agreement and required
EMD will be rejected outright. The tenders received, will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on 24-12-2009 in presence of the
tenderers or their authorized representatives present at the time of opening. The firm period of the tender will be
4 months from the date of opening of the tender.
All the conditions in the Kerala P.W.D./H.E.D. and all other conditions prevailing for consideration of the tenders
and allied orders will be applicable to this tender. [Government Order (Rt.) No. 255/04/F&PD dated 29-6-2004 and allied
orders will also be applicable to this tender]. The undersigned reserves the right to reject the application for tender
documents and also to reject the submitted tender without assigning any reason. On evaluation of tenders, regard
would be paid to National Defence and Security considerations.
