the presence of tenderers or their authorised

representatives who may be present at that time. The

required articles should be supplied within 10 days from

the date of issue of supply order. Additional details can

be had from the office of the undersigned during the

office hours of all working days. All rules and regulations

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Lab

equipments in Department of Physics of Maharaja’s

College, Ernakulam during 2009-10 under DST-FIST

Programme.

The tenders should be superscribed “Tender

No. XIV/2009-10 supply of Lab equipments in Department

of Physics under DST-FIST Programme” and addressed to

the Principal, Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam. The tenders

will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on 6-1-2010 in the presence of

CONDITIONS

The supply of seeds should be completed before

14-1-2010. Supply of Polythene covers should be

completed before 14-1-2010.

The receipt should be obtained from Range Officer,

Social Forestry Unit, Alappuzha after the completion

of the supply of Polythene Covers/Good quality

seeds as per agreement.

If the supply is not completed within the dates

specified in item No.(1) above, the tender will be

cancelled and action taken to purchase the items at

the risk and loss of the original bidder.

The demand draft towards EMD should be pledged

in the name of the Assistant. Conservator of

Forests, Social Forestry Division, Alappuzha payable

at State Bank of India, Civil Station Branch,

Alappuzha and should be accompanied along with

the filled up tender forms.

SSI units are exempted from remitting EMD, such

units should produce necessary eligibility

certificates obtained from the Manager, District

Industries Centre concerned.

The quantities mentioned in the Schedules I and II

are only approximate and may vary.

Rate to be quoted for supplying polythene bags/

Good quality seeds should include transporting

charge.

2 polythene covers should be produced along with

the tender application as samples.

The successful tenderer should remit 2.5% amount

of the PAC in addition to the EMD as security

deposit for the contract and enter in to an

agreement with the Forest Department within

7 days from the date of intimation regarding the

acceptance of the tender.

Final payment of the seeds will be done only after

ensuring the germination of the seeds and

deduction of final amount will be done

proportionally.

11.

On satisfactory completion of supply and all the

above conditions, the security deposit will be

released to the tenderer on production of necessary

tax clearance certificate.

12.

The tenderer is liable to follow Kerala Store

Purchase Rules.

13.

All the conditions stipulated as per Kerala Forest

Code and Kerala Store Purchase manual is applicable

for this tender also.

Competitive tenders in sealed cover super-

scribing the name of the work is invited by the

Divisional Forest Officer, Palakkad for and on behalf of

the Governor of Kerala from the approved contractors/

Government owned/approved institutions having less

than 2 years experience in the same field for taking up the

following work. The tenders has to submit 10 years

maintenance and warranty of the work and also submit a

certificate in due course stating that the quanlity of the

materials used in the work is as per the norms issued by

the Director General of Supplies & Disposals in order to

ensure the quality of items used in the work. The

Registration for VAT and Income Tax are compulsory for

those who are participating in the tender. Tender forms

can be had from the office of the undersigned till 1 p. m.

on 23-12-2009 on payment of the cost of the tender

documents along with a request in writing. The last date

and time of receipt of tender is 2 p. m. on 23-12-2009.

The tender will be opened at 3 p. m. in the presence of

the

tenderer

present

that

day

the Divisional Forest Officer or his authorized

representative . In case the date of tender happens to be

a holiday the tender will be conducted on the next

working day. If the tender process does not

happen on 23-12-2009 it will be conducted on

29-12-2009. In the case the tender is not happened on

29-12-2009 it will be conducted on 5-1-2010. The time,

venue etc. shall remain the same.

from Anakundu to Walayar (10 km.) in Walayar Range.

Approximate Estimate Cost—Rs. 10, 90,000.

Earnest Money Deposit—Rs. 27,500.

Cost of tender form—Rs. 700 + VAT.

Period of completion—Within 45 days from the date

of agreement.

E. M. D. will be accepted only through DD taken

from the branches of any Nationalized Bank in favour of

Divisional Forest Officer, Palakkad. The name of the work

EMD by way of D.D. drawn in favour of Principal,

Nursing College, Mulamkunnathukavu,Thrissur at

the rate of 1 % of the total cost of books quoted

(Subject to a maximum of Rs. 5,000) should be

submitted with the tender.

Agreement in the prescribed form should be

furnished along with the tender.

All books should be of latest edition if not

otherwise specified.

Books should be displayed in the Central Library

for verfication and spot selection, if directed.

The successful tenderer has to furnish the

authentic price list of publishers for effecting

payment.

Exchange rate of foreign books shall be as per

GOC report prevailing at the time of supply.

A copy of each of the GOC report should be

finished with the invoice of supplied books relating

to the month of supply.

considered for purchase. Substitution will not be
