Numbers 129, 416, 417, 418, 419 and 420 is
withheld.

Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy
of their OMR Answer Sheet (Part A and
Part B) relating to this selection shall remit
the fees of Rs. 200 in any of the Treasuries
in the State (Head of Account 0051 PSC-800-
other receipts-99-other receipts). The duly
filled in application in the prescribed form
(available from the Commission’s website)
along with the original chalan should be
submitted
to
the
Deputy
Secretary
(Examinations), Kerala Public Service
Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram
within one month of the date of publication
of this ranked list. A copy of an answer sheet
will be issued only once to a candidate.
Copies of OMR answer sheets invalidated
due to any defect will not be issued.
Candidates are prohibited from applying for a
copy of an answer sheet which is not their
own, and legal proceedings will be initiated
against those who do so.

A period of one month’s time for rechecking
of Answer Scripts will be allowed to
candidates with effect from the date of
publication of Ranked List. The candidates
can avail only one chance after the
publication of Ranked List.
Candidates desiring to recheck the
answer script relating to the written test held
for selection to the post may apply for
rechecking within 30 days from the date of
publication of the Ranked List.
“Applications for re-checking of answer
scripts should be submitted in the prescribed
form available free of cost from the Enquiry
Sections of the Various Offices of the
Commission or its photocopy or downloaded
and printed in A4 size paper from the
Commission’s website: www.keralapsc.org or
photocopied there from. Applications
submitted in any other manner will not be
considered.’’
The Application for rechecking along
with original chalan receipt for the prescribed
fee for Rs. 50 under the Head of Account
“0051 PSC-105-State PSC 99-Examination Fee”
addressed to the Deputy Secretary
(Examinations), Kerala Public Service
Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram
should reach the Office within 30 days from
the date of publication of the Ranked List.

notification. The register numbers of those
candidates who do not produce the required

The place, date and time of interview will be
intimated in due course.

Application for re-checking received from cancdidates
whose answer scripts have been invalidated will not be
considered. Candidates whose register numbers are
included or not included in the short list and ranked list
can apply for rechecking of their answer scripts, within
one month from the date of publication of the ranked list.
Valid applications for re-checking addressed to the
District Officer, KPSC District Office, Alappuzha should
reach this office within 30 days from the date on which
this Ranked List is officially released by K.P.S.C.
Applications for rechecking received after the prescribed
time limit or not in the prescribrd form will not be
enterained.
The Fee once remitted will not be refunded.
In the case of candidates who send applications for
re-checking in the prescribed form within the prescribed
time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above,
the marks awarded will be re-checked and the result of the

The following list contains the names of candidates
found suitable on the basis of the result of the Objective
Type Test (OMR Valuation) held on 1-3-2008 and Physical
Efficiency Test for the post of Excise Guard (Direct
Recruitment and Recruitment by Transfer) on Rs. 3050-5230
(PR) in the Excise Department in Kottayam District
(Category No. 81/2007) for which notification for selection
was published in the Gazette dated 12-3-2007, arranged in
the order of merit. This Ranked List is brought into force
with effect from 30-9-2009.

The Ranked List will be in force for a minimum period
of one year provided that the said list will continue to be
in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the
expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry
of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this
list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the
rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as
amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies
reported to the Commission during the pendency of the
list. As the advice for appointment depends on the
occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all
candidates included in this list will secure appointment.
The candidates remaining in this list at the time of
cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on
the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account
“0051 PSC 800 Other Receipts-99-other receipts”. The duly
filled in application in the prescribed form (available from
the Commission’s website: www.keralapsc.org) along with
the original chalan should be submitted to The District
Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office,
Muttambalam P. O., Kottayam-4 within one month from the
date of publication of this Ranked List. A copy of an
answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate.
Copies of OMR answer sheets invalidated due to any
defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from
applying for a copy of an answer sheet which is not their
own and legal proceedings will be initiated against those
who do so.
Entries are based on the communities specified by the
candidates in their applications and proved by them with
necessary documents. The candidates whose communities
have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by
them in their application should intimate the fact to the
District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District
Office, Kottayam within one month from the date of
publication of the list to get the benefit of reservation to
which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely
information regarding discrepancies, if any, the candidates
will be advised on the basis of communities specified in
the list.
The candidates who have obtained 53 (Fifty three)
