Whereas the Shipping Corporation of India Ltd.,

Mumbai has deposited with this Court an amount of

Rs. 12,85,000 (Rupees twelve lakhs eighty five thousand

only) as Workmen’s Compensation Payable to the

dependents of the deceased Sri K. S. Sasidharan, (EPRO 1)

who met with a fatal accident on 13-8-2009 arising out of

and in the course of his employment under the above

employer.

And whereas an enquiry conducted through the

Assistant Labour Officer, Kunnamkulam. It is understood

that the following persons are the dependants of the

deceased workman within the meaning of Section 2 (1) (d)

of the Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923.
