of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Model Floriculture

Centre, Kazhakuttom, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala for

“Supply of Culture Bottle for Laboratory” and the items

are specified below.

the same day at 4 p. m. in the presence of the available

tenderers or their representatives.

Intending tenderers on application to the

undersigned may obtain tender forms and special

conditions on which tenders are to be given on remittance

of tender forms fee. Tender forms will be sold w. e. f.

from 4-1-2010 to 8-1-2010 and will be closed at 3 p. m. on

8-1-2010. Money order addressed to the Assistant

Director of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Model

The materials supplied should be in strict

conformity with the specifications given in the

tender notice.

4.

The rate quoted should be inclusive of all taxes (if

applicable), loading, transportation and unloading

charges etc. for delivery at Biotechnology and

Floriculture

Centre,

Kazhakuttom,

Thiruvananthapuram without incurring any extra

cost to the department.

5.

All terms and conditions governing to the purchase

of stores by the Government of Kerala will apply to

this tender also.

6.

The payment in respect of the items supplied will

be released only after the satisfactory completion of

supply of all the items quoted.

7.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all of the tenders for any particular

item without assigning any reason whatsoever.

8.

Tenders have to be accompanied an agreement as

per the format annexed executed on Kerala Stamp

Paper of face value of Rs. 50.

9.

Successful tender should be execute an agreement

in Kerala Stamp Paper before supply and have to

deposit a security of 5% of tendered amount which

is exclusive of EMD already furnished. Security

should be in the form of DD in favour of

“Assistant Director of Agriculture, Biotechnology

and Model Floriculture Centre, Kazhakuttom,

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala-695 582” drawn in SBT

payable at SBT Pallippuram Branch.

10.

Supply should be completed within 20 days of

receipt of supply order. No other conditions with

regard to payment put forth by firm will be

considered unless it is expressly accepted by

undersigned. In case of reasons beyond the

control of the contractor as satisfied by the

undersigned, the period of supply can be extended

up to a period of 45 days beyond which deduction

in payment of cost @ 1% for delay for every

week or part thereof will be affected. If the supply

is not effected within the prescribed time, the

undersigned is at liberty to purchase equipment

form alternative source at the risk and cost of

defaulter and the expenditure incurred in excess as

a result would be realized from defaulter.

11.

The rate quoted should be firm from the date of

opening of the tender and till upto March 31, 2010.

12.

The material supplied should confirm to the

standard mentioned in the tender and if it is found

substandard, the whole payment will be withheld

without any intimation. The supplier should lift the

same at their own cost and should replace the same

with immediate effect.

13.

The exact specifications, details of make, batch

number,

date

of

manufacture,

name

of

manufacturer’s service offices, salient features etc.

of the items offered must be clearly specified.

14.

Details of warranty/Guarantee offered should be

stated in the tender. Details of after service

facilities available should be indicated.

15.

Even if the tenderers are using their own paper for

quoting rates, they should submit duly signed

original tender form in full (without removing any

sheet) with remarks “rates quoted separately” in the

respective page of the tender forms.

16.

Documentary evidence to prove current BIS/ISI/ISO

registration if any (such as attested copies of the

documents) should be furnished along with the

tender.

17.

Evidence of exclusive distributionship/dealership

from principals Foreign/Indian shall be provided

along with offers for Overseas/Indian products

quoted.

18.

The tenderer or his/her agent should be present at

the time of supply of culture bottle and should

entrust the same to the officers concerned at the

laboratory. The transportation, loading and

unloading etc. should be met.

19.

On completion of the supply at BMFC, the invoice

in triplicate should be drawn in favour of the

Assistant Director of Agriculture, Biotechnology

and Model Floriculture Centre, Kazhakuttom,

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala-695 582 for effecting

payment. Separate bill should be sent for each

order.

20.

In case of disputes, the decision of the Assistant

Director of Agriculture, Biotechnology and

Centre,

Kazhakuttom,

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala-695 582 shall be final.

21.

In case of the date for opening the tender falls on

a holiday, it will be postponed to the very next

working day without any further publicity notice.

22.

Violation of any rules/special conditions/directions

of supply order by the contractor will be lead to

rejection of his tender offer.

23.

This order is placed on behalf of Government of

Kerala, and VAT declaration in “D” for will be

issued by purchasing officer, wherever necessary.

24.

The undersigned reserves the authority to accept or

reject any or all of the offers for any particular item

without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of LCD

Projector to the Statistics Department of Maharaja’s

College, Ernakulam during 2009-10 under Plan Fund.

The tenders should be superscribed as “Tender

No. XVII/2009-10 Supply of LCD Projector to the

Department Under Plan Fund 2009-10 and addressed to

the Principal, Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam. The tenders

will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on 5-2-2010 in the presence

of such of the tenderers or their authorized

representatives who may be present at that time. Late

tenders will not be accepted.

Estimated cost is Rs. 50,000.

Intending tenderers may on application to the

Principal, Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, Kochi-11 obtain

the requisite tender forms (before 2 p. m. on all working

days) on which tenders should be submitted. Application

for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash

remittance of Rs. 169 (Rs. 150 + 19) which is the price

fixed for the form and which is not refundable under any

circumstances. Those who wish to get the tender form

by post, have to send Rs. 219 by Money Order. In the

case of bidder outside Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50

for executing agreement will be send on their request

along with an additional amount of Rs. 50. The tender

forms are not transferable. Sale of tender forms will be

closed at 2 p. m. on 5-2-2010. DD, Cheques, Postal

Orders will not be accepted towards the cost of tender

forms nor will the forms be send by V. P. P. Duplicate

tender forms if required will be issued at Rs. 113 per copy.

The rates quoted will be valid up to 31-3-2010. 1% of

above the cost of tender forms. EMD 1% of the total cost

will have to be produced in the form of Demand Draft

taken in favour of the Director of Insurance Medical

Services along with the filled tender forms subscribed to

Stores Purchase Rules ie. with EMD will be rejected

summarily. Tenders will be opened on the specified date

and time as shown in tender.

The equipment tendered should confirm ISI

specification. The price quoted should be inclusive of all

taxes, duties and transportation charges to the place of

delivery/specified by Director of Insurance Medical

Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply

of the dietary articles to the Directorate of Museums and

Zoos, Thiruvananthapuram for the period from 1-4-2010 to

31-3-2011.

The tenders should be superscribed as “Tender for

the supply of Dietary articles to Thiruvananthapuram Zoo

for the period 2010-11” and addressed to the Director of

Museums and Zoos, Thiruvananthapuram and should be

in the prescribed tender forms. The last date for receipt of

the tender will be 18-2-2010 till 1 p.m. Late tenders will not

be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 3 p.m. on

18-2-2010 at the office of the Director, Museums and

Zoos, Thiruvananthapuram in the presence of the

tenderers or their authorised representatives who choose

to be present at that time. The tenders should be

submitted with the following documents.

1. Earnest Money Deposit @ 1% of the total

cost of items quoted by way of Demand Draft

drawn in favour of Director, Museums and

Zoos, Thiruvananthapuram.

2. Solvency Certificate for 10% of the total

quoted amount.

3. Valid licence obtained from the local bodies for

the sale of beef/mutton/meat (for the supply of

Intending tenderers may on application to the

Director of Museums and Zoos, obtain the requisite form

containing dietary items on which tenders should be

submitted. Application for the tender form should be

accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 17,250 + VAT

which is the price fixed for the form and which is not

refundable under any circumstances.

Tender forms can be got from the office from 10-2-

2010 to 17-2-2010. Cheques, Postage Stamps etc. will not

be accepted towards the cost of the forms nor the forms

be sent as V.P.P. Duplicate tender form if required will be

issued for Rs .8,625 plus Vat per copy.

Tenders which lack the required documents such as

sufficient EMD, solvency etc. will be summarily rejected

even if rates quoted are the lowest. Samples of non-
