NOTIFICATION

G. O. (P) No. 9/2010/LSGD.

Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 14th January 2010.

S. R. O. No. 163/2010.—Under sub-section (3) of section 12 of the Town

Planning Act 1108 (IV of 1108), the Government of Kerala have sanctioned the

Development for Vaikom Town. The Government Order sanctioning the scheme

is hereby published as required under sub-section (5) of the said section. The

scheme will be open for inspection of the public in the Vaikom Municipal Office

during office hours for a period of one month from the date of publication of

this notification in the Gazette.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its

general purpose.)

The Secretary, Vaikom Municipality has forwarded the Development Plan for

Vaikom Town for final sanction as required under the Town Planning Act, 1108.

The Chief Town Planner has also recommended to accord the final sanction.

Government have examined the scheme in detail as required under the said

section. This notification is intended to achieve the above purpose.
