QUOTATION NOTICE

Sealed quotations are invited for the binding and

rebinding of books/periodicals/reports/Gazettes in the

High Court Library, as per the specifications given below

for a period of one year.

1.

The lowest satisfactory quotation will ordinarily

be accepted, but the Registrar General reserves to himself

the right to reject all or any of the quotation, without

assigning any reason thereof.

2.

The successful quotationer will have to deposit a

sum of Rs. 1,000 as security, immediately on acceptance of

the quotation and also to execute an agreement.

3.

The successful quotationer will report before the

High Court on all saturdays except second saturdays

unless ordered otherwise.

4.

The last date fixed for the receipt of quotations in

this office is 2-3-2010 at 2.30 p. m. The sealed quotation

will be opened by the Registrar General at

3 p. m. on 4-3-2010.

5.

Further details can be had from this office on any

working day during office hours.

Sealed tenders are invited for the Installation of

Steam Cooking facility for cooking food for 1000 Prisoners

at Central Prisons at Thiruvananthapuram, Kannur, Viyyur

and Open Prisons at Nettukaltheri (Thiruvananthapuram)

and Cheemeni (Kasaragod).

The tender should be superscribed with the Number,

Name of Tender and addressed to the Addl. Director

General of Police (Prisons), Prisons Headquarters,

Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram-12. The PAC of the

tender will be Rs. 62,50,000 (Rupees Sixty two lakhs and

fifty thousand only). Last date and time for receipt of

tender with 1% E.M.D. will be 3 p. m. on 2-3-2010 and

will be opened at 4 p. m. on the same day, in the

presence of such tenderers or their authorised

representatives, who may be present at that time.

Late tenders will not be accepted. The rates quoted

must be valid upto 31-3-2010. Tender forms may be

obtained from the Office of the Addl. Director General of

Police (Prisons) on working days during office hours.

Application for tender forms should be accompanied

by cash remittance as detailed below:

Original—Rs. 25,000 + 12.5% VAT.

Duplicate—Rs. 12,500 + 12.5% VAT.

The cost of tender forms will not be refunded under

any circumstances. Sale of tender forms will be closed at

3 p. m. on 1-3-2010.

Cheques, Postage Stamps etc. will not be accepted

towards the cost of tender forms, nor will the forms be

sent by V.P.P. Further details are available from Prisons
