Sealed and competitive tenders in the prescribed
forms are invited till 2 p.m. on 23-9-2010 from approved
contractors of the PWD for the following works by
Divisional Forest Officer, Palakkad for and on behalf of
the Governor of Kerala. Tender form can be had from the
office of the undersigned till 1 p.m. on the date of tender
on payment of the cost of tender documents along with a
request in writing. The last date and time of receipt of
tender is 2 p.m. on the tender date. The tender will be
opened at 3 p.m. in the presence of the bidders present
on that date. In case the date of tender happens to be a
holiday the tender will be conducted on the next working
day. In case the tender is not happened on 23-9-2010 it

The cost of tender forms will not be refunded. EMD
will be accepted through DD taken from any of the
branches of Nationalized Bank in favour of Divisional
Forest Officer, Palakkad. Separate work tenders shall be
submitted for each work. The terms and conditions
applicable to tender formalities prevailing in Kerala Public
Works Department and Forest Department will be
applicable to these works also. Tender forms are not
transferable. Tender should be submitted along with a
preliminary agreement signed and executed in Kerala
Government Stamp Paper worth Rs. 75.

It is hereby notified that consequent to receipt of
post offers, in respect of sale the Jeep No. KL 10 F-6370
and TATA-407 Mini Lorry No. KL-13 M 7708 and also
consequent to non-receipt of upset price in respect of
goods Autoriksha No. KL-12 C 9569 in tender-cum-auction
sale on 30-6-2010, these three vehicles will be sold in
Re-tender-cum-re-auction sale, in as and where is condition
by the Wayanad Wildlife Warden, Wayanad Wildlife
Division, Sulthan Bathery or an Officer authorized by him
on 23-9-2010. These vehicles were involved in forest cases
and are kept in the compounds of Office of the Assistant
Wildlife Warden, Kurichiyat and Wildlife Warden,
Sulthan Bathery. The tender forms will be issued from the
Office of the Wildlife Warden, Wayanad Wildlife Division,

Sulthan Bathery from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on all working
days from 8-9-2010. Filled up tenders should be submitted
before 3 p.m. on the re-tender date. Subsequently, auction
sale of the vehicles will be conducted at 3.30 p. m. on the
same day at the office of the Wildlife Warden, Wayanad
Wildlife Division, Sulthan Bathery in the presence of those
who have submitted tenders. The tenders will be opened
soon after completion of the re-auction sale. The sale of
vehicles will be knocked down in the names of the
persons offer highest amount, either in the tender or in
the auction on the day.
In case, the notified date happens to be a public
holiday, the re-tender-cum-re-auction sale will be conducted
on the next working day at the notified place and time, as
per the same conditions. If the sale of the vehicles could
not be conducted on the day, the re-tender-cum-re-auction
sale of the vehicles will be conducted on 30-9-2010 at the
same place and time, as per the same conditions
mentioned above. If the sale could not be conducted on
the day also, it shall be again conducted on
7-10-2010 and if the sale could not be conducted on this
day also, it shall be again conducted on 14-10-2010. The
place, time, conditions etc. shall remain the same for all the
days. Further details can be had from the office of the
undersigned or from the office of the Assistant Wildlife
Warden, Kurichiyat.
CONDITIONS
1.
Before participating in the tender-cum-auction sale,
intending tenderers/bidders should satisfy
themselves of the quality of each vehicle after
personal inspection with prior permission of the
Wildlife Warden/Assistant Wildlife Wardens
concerned. Complaints, if any, raised after the sale
regarding the quality of the vehicle will not be
entertained.
2.
The cost of tender form is Rs. 400 + VAT and
EMD. is Rs. 450.
3.
The intending tenderers/bidders should produce
either the electoral identity card, Indian Passport,
a certificate from the concerned village officer
showing the permanent address and also
signature attested by him or any legally valid
identity card for getting tender forms for remitting
EMD.
4.
Intending tenderers/bidders should deposit the
EMD by cash in the office of the undersigned for
participation in tender/auction.
5.
Tenders received after the due date and time will
not be entertained.
6.
Incomplete or defective tenders will not be
considered.
7.
EMD of successful bidders will be adjusted
towards the sale value and EMD of the
unsuccessful bidders/tenderers shall be returned
after auction sale.
8.
Successful tenderers/bidders have to remit 50% of
the sale value (including EMD) on the tender/
auction date, if the sale value is more than EMD.
9.
If the amount offered is less than the EMD,
balance EMD will be returned on the day.
10.
Information will be sent to successful bidders/
tenderers, soon on confirmation of the sale by the
competent authority.
11.
The successful bidder/tenderer should remit the
balance amount and taxes and remove the vehicle
within 15 days from the date of receipt of
intimation of the confirmation.
12.
If the vehicle is not removed within 15 days after
remitting the balance amount, taxes etc. as above,
another 15 days will be allowed by the Wildlife
Warden, Wayanad for remittance of balance
amount and removal of vehicle after realization of
12% interest and ground rent of Rs. 20.
Further extension of time will not be allowed. If
the vehicle is not removed even within this
period,
the
vehicle
will
be
sold
in
re-auction-cum-re-tender at the risk and loss of the
original tenderer/bidder. Loss including the cost
of re-auction-cum-re-tender if any, shall be
recovered from the defaulter. He shall not have
any claim on profit, if any.
13.
Only those who submit tenders will be eligible for
participating in the auction sale.
14.
The right for accepting or rejecting any tender/
bid amount shall be vested with competent
authority.
15.
If the date of auction/tender happens to be a
public holiday, it will be conducted on the next
working day at the same place and the same time,
as per the same conditions.
Post Offer
Post offers received within three days of the
auction/tender date shall only be accepted, subject to
the following conditions:
(a)
Post offer is entertainable only if the post offer
amount is above 10% in the case of amount of
tender/auction is more than one lakh and only if
the post offer amount is more than 20% where the
