It is hereby notified that the Chairman, University

Grants Commission is pleased to nominate

Dr. Rajan Varghese, Principal Investigator, Major

Research Project Research Centre and Post Graduate,

Department of Commerce and Tourism, Mar Ivanios

College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala as the

representative of University Grants Commission, to the

Syndicate of the University under Section 17(1) (ix) of

the Cochin University of Science and Technology Act,

1986.

The term of office of the above member in the

Syndicate shall be for a period of four years with

effect from 26-8-2010 to 25-8-2014, subject to the

provisions of Cochin University of Science and

Technology Act, 1986 and Statutes thereunder.
