It is hereby notified that Dr. T. S. Anirudhan,

Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Kerala,

Kariavattom, Thiruvananthapuram, has been nominated

to the Academic Council of the Cochin University of

Science and Technology, as the nominee of the

Vice-Chancellor, University of Kerala, in accordance with

the provisions of Section 23 (2) “Ex-Officio Members (iii)”

of the Cochin University of Science and Technology

Dr. A. Vijayakumar, who was nominated to the Academic Council by virtue of his Designation as Reader, in acordance with Section 23 (2) Nominated Members (i) of the Cochin University of Science and Technology Act, 1986, has expresed inability to continue as member since he has ben promoted as profesor.

Considering the above, the Vice Chancelor has nominated Dr. S. Prathapan, Reader, Department of Applied Chemistry, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi-22, to the Academic Council of the University, in place of Dr. A. Vijayakumar, for a period of two years with efect from 20-8-2010 subject to the provisions of Cochin University of Science and Technology Act, 1986 and Statutes made thereunder.
