WHEREAS, the Government of Kerala has published Act No. 21 of 2005, namely, the Kerala Forest (Vesting and

Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act 2003, which came into effect from 2nd day of June 2000 for the

conservation and management of ecologically fragile lands, minimizing the reduction of degradation of the Eco-System

and Biological Diversity therein.

Now, it is hereby notified for the information of the public that the ownership and possession of the land as per the

details shown in the schedule hereto, in the District of Palakkad has been vested with the Government of Kerala free

from all encumbrances and the right, title and interest of the owner or any other person thereon shall stand extinguished

from the date of commencement of the Act, i.e. 2nd June 2000.

The publication of the notification is made as required under Section 3(2) of the Kerala Forest (Vesting and

Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act, 2003 as per Government Notification No. 15567/Leg. B1/01/Law dated

3rd May 2005 and published in Kerala Gazette No. 929 dated 3rd May 2005.

Tender forms and other conditions can be obtained

from the office of the undersigned on application in

writing and on payment of the cost of tender form either

in cash or by money order (not refundable) up to 1 p. m.

on 10-11-2010 and will be opened by the undersigned or

his deputee on the same day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence

of the applicants attending on that date. If the due date

happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be the

due date. Cost of tender forms will not be refunded at

any instances.

In addition to the above tender forms and tender

schedules can be download from the official website of

the Department www.keralaforest.org. Filled up tender

forms along with other documents shall be submitted to

the undersigned up to 3 p. m. on 10-11-2010 by post or

any approved courier service. In the case of downloaded

tender applications, in addition to the prescribed EMD, a

Demand Draft for the tender form value from a Nationalized

Bank drawn in favour of Wildlife Warden, Wildlife

Division, Munnar payable at Munnar shall also be

enclosed. No other mode of remittance of tender form

cost is not acceptable.

The Earnest Money Deposit noted against the work

should be paid along with the tenders by DD (cheques

or fixed deposit receipts will not be acceptable) in favour

of the undersigned payable at any Nationalized Bank at

Munnar. Incomplete tender or tenders without EMD are

Sealed and separate competitive tenders are invited

for sale of the vechicles confiscated under section 61 A

of Kerala Forest Act 1961 shown in the schedules (1) and

(2) below from the intending tenderers.

Sealed tender for vehicles to be tendered cum

auctioned listed as in Schedule 1 should be submitted

before the undersinged on or before 11-11-2010 at

3 p. m. at his office at Kannothumchal, Kannur and sealed

tender for vehicles to be re-tendered/re-auctioned listed as

in Scheduled 2 should be submitted to the undersigned

on or before the same date at 3.30 p.m. After receving the

tenders the vehicles will be auctioned/re-auctioned among

the tenderers/bidders and the tender should be opened

in their presence by the undersigned or an officer

authorized by him at his office at Kannothumchal, Kannur.

The tender/auction will temporarily be fixed in the name

of highest tenderer/bidder. If any vehicle listed as in

Schedule 1 put up for auction on 11-11-2010 is not sold,

the same will be re-tendered/re-auctioned accepting

tenders up to 3 p. m. on 18-11-2010. Also any vehicles

listed as in Schedule 2 put up for re-auction cum

re-tender on 11-11- 2010 is not sold, the same will again

be re-auctioned/re-tendered on 18-11-2010 accepting

tenders upto 3 p. m.
