of receipt of tenders is at 2 p. m. on 8-11-2010. Late
tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened
at 3 p. m. on 8-11-2010 in the presence of such
tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be
present at that time.
Tender form can be had from the office upto 2 p. m.
on working days either by cash or by Money Order for
Rs. 500+VAT (12.5%). Duplicate tender form if required
will be issued on payment of Rs. 250 + VAT (12.5%) per
copy. Tender forms are not transferable. A self
addressed, sufficiently stamped envelope should also be
sent if the tender documents are required by post.
Cheque, DD, Postage Stamp etc. will not be accepted
towards the cost of tender forms, nor the form be sent by

Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply
of Chemicals required to the Drug Standardisation
Unit & Rachana Sareera Department of Govt. Ayurveda
College, Thiruvananthapuram for the year 2010-11 and
for the supply up to 31-7-2011.
Tenders should be superscribed “Supply of
Chemicals” addressed to the Principal, Govt. Ayurveda
College, Thiruvananthapuram. The last date of the receipt
of tenders will be at 3 p. m. on 12-11-2010. Late tenders
will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at
3.30 p. m. on 12-11-2010 in the presence of such of the
tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be
present at that time.
Intending tenderers may on application to the
Principal, Govt. Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram to
obtain tender forms on which tenders should be
submitted. Application for the tender form should be
accompanied by cash remittance of Rs. 416 (cost of
tender form Rs. 400 + VAT Rs. 16) which is the price
fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any
circumstances. Tender forms are not transferable. Sale of
tender forms will be closed at 1 p. m. on 12-11-2010.
Cheques, Postal Orders etc. will not be accepted towards
the cost of forms. Those who wish to purchase tender
forms by post shall send an additional amount of Rs. 50
by money order to cover postal charges. Duplicate tender
forms, if required will be issued at Rs. 208 (cost of
tender form Rs. 200 + VAT Rs. 8) per copy.
Intending tenderers should deposit an amount of 1%
of the total cost quoted rate as Earnest Money Deposit
by Demand Draft in favour of the Principal, Government
Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram together with an
agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50.
The rate quoted shall remain firm for acceptance
till 31-7-2011.
The Principal, Ayurveda College,
Thiruvananthapuram will have powers to postpone/
cancel the tender.

Sealed and superscribed tenders in the prescribed
forms are invited for the supply of Lab Items for the use
in the Nursing Foundation of the Government College of
Nursing, Calicut. Estimtate Cost is Rs. 3,40,775.
Tender forms can be had from the office of the
Principal, Government College of Nursing, Calicut direct
on payment of Rs. 675 and by registered post on
payment of Rs. 715 by Money Order. Tender forms
should be superscribed as “Tender No. E-1365/2010/

opened at the time mentioned above, in the presence of
the tenderers or their authorized representatives (with
proof of identity) who may be present at that time.
Intending tenderes may on application to the
Director General of Police, obtain requisite tender forms
on which the tenders should be submitted.
Application for tender forms should be accompanied
by a cash remittance, price fixed for the form which is
not refundable. The tender forms are not transferable. The
sale of tender form will be closed at 12 noon on
15-11-2010. Cheques, Drafts, Postage Stamps etc. will
not be accepted towards the cost of forms, nor the forms
be sent by VPP. However money orders (including
telegraphic money orders) sent in the name of the
Assistant Inspector General of Police, Police
Headquarters, Thiruvananthapuram-10 will be accepted.
The amount should include the Postage/Courier Charges
for sending tender documents. The money order along
with the request should reach Police Headquarters
atleast 7 days before the closing of the sale of the tender
documents enabling us to sent the documents well in
advance.
Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) @ 1% of the quoted
value should be furnished through DD (Demand Draft)
drawn in favour of Assistant Inspector General of Police,
Police Headquarters, Thiruvananthapuram-10 along with
the tender documents. The firms which are exempted
from furnishing EMD should produce a copy of relevant
authorised document for verification. The tenders without
EMD will be cancelled. The quoted amount should be
inclusive of all taxes and levies.
Specifications and list of the items of each tender
shall be obtainable from PHQ with the tender forms
during the working hours of Police Headquarters. The
firms should also furnish the detailed specifications,
make, brochures, test report from Government
Laboratories/Agencies, (wherever possible) along with
tenders. The tenders without separate envelope and not
superscribing the tender number and sample will be
rejected.
As the items are urgently required, the selected
bidder will have to supply the item without loss of time.
The rates quoted should be valid and firm till 31-3-2011.
Those firms registered with Store Purchase Rule
Department and is under the control of Government
should enclose the certificate in proof of it.
The Director General of Police is empowered to
reject any tender without assigning any reason.
