Sealed tenders are invited for the Fabrication of
3 Numbers of Emergency Tenders to Fire and Rescue
Services Department. Details of items can be had along
with the tender forms. The tenders are to reach the
undersigned before 5 p. m. on 26-11-2010.
The tenders should be superscribed as Tender
No. 17/2010 and addressed to the Commandant General,
Home Guards, Civil Defence and Fire and Rescue
Services Headquarters, Housing Board Junction,
Thiruvananthapuram-1. Late tenders will not be accepted.
The tenders will be opened at 11 a. m. on 27-11-2010 in
the presence of such tenderers or their authorized
representatives who may be present at that time.
Intending tenderers may on application to the
Commandant General obtain requisite tender form on
which tenders should be submitted. Application for tender
forms should be accompanied by the cash remittance/
money order of Rs. 25,000 + 4% VAT (Round to next
Rupee) per copy which is the price fixed by Government
and is not refundable under any circumstances. The tender
forms are not transferable. The sale of tender forms will
be closed at 3 p.m. on 25-11-2010. Neither Cheques,
Bank Drafts, Postal Order, Postage Stamps etc. will
be accepted towards the cost of tender forms, nor will the
tender form be send per Value Payable Post. Duplicate
tender
forms

will
be
supplied
@ Rs. 12,500 + 4% VAT per copy. The tenderers are to
ready the general conditions given in the tender forms
carefully before the forms are filled up.
Kerala stamp paper will be supplied to firms outside
State if required by a separate cash remittance of Rs. 120

An unused Chainsaw attached to Fire & Rescue
Station, Vizhinjam will be sold in auction on 15-12-2010
at 12 noon at the premises of Fire and Rescue Station,
Vizhinjam by the Assistant Divisional Officer, Fire and
Rescue Services, Thiruvananthapuram under the following
conditions.
The intending bidders should Deposit an Earnest
Money of Rs. 500 before the commencement of the
auction. The earnest money of the highest bidder will be
adjusted to the bid amount and that of the others will be
refunded on the spot.
The highest bidder on whose favour the auction is
knocked down is accepted should remit 25% of the bid
amount on the spot and the balance amount plus
admissible Sales Tax (VAT) will be paid within 15 days
on receipt of Confirmation Orders.
If the highest bidder fails to follow the above
conditions, auction will be arranged again and 25% of the
bid amount and earnest money deposit will be forfeited
to Government Account from the highest bidder. Any
loss as a result of such re-auction to department, will
also be realised from the defaulted bidder under Revenue
Recovery Act in force.
Those who wish to participate in the auction sale
can inspect the vehicle at Fire and Rescue Station,
Vizhinjam during Office hours on any working days with
the permission of the Station Officer, Fire and Rescue
Station, Vizhinjam.
