timber depots under Timber Sales Division, Kottayam will
be sold in public Auction-cum-Tender on the dates noted
against each depot. The sale will be subject to the
conditions notified in the Kerala Gazette No. 50 dated
22-12-2009 by the Chief Conservator of Forests vide
Letter No. Pro.5-6835/09 dated 2-12-2009. Further details

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION SALE NOTICE
No. E-2205/2010.
26th October, 2010.
The following quantities of cleaned sandalwood
(billets, roots and chips), sandal saw dust and sandal
powder stacked and stored at Government Sandal Depot
Godown in Marayoor Range will be offered for sale by
tender-cum-auction at 10 a.m. on 2nd December 2010
(2-12-2010) at the Government Sandal Depot, Marayoor
(Marayoor is situated at Munnar-Udumalpet Road 42 kms.
North East of Munnar and 45 kms. South West of
Udumalpet) by the Divisional Forest Officer, Sandal
Division, Marayoor or any other officer authorized for the
purpose in the presence of the Chief Conservator of
Forests (Protection) and the Chief Conservator of Forests,
High Range Circle, Kottayam as per sale conditions
notified in the tender-cum-auction notification, the general
sale conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 50 dated
22-12-2009 vide Notification No. Pro-(5)-6835/2009 dated
2-12-2009 of the Chief Conservator of Forests
(Protection), Thiruvananthapuram and the approved general
sandal sale conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 41
dated 14-10-2008 vide Notification No. MDE-3991/07
dated 17-9-2008 of the Divisional Forest Officer, Sandal
Division, Marayoor. If the tender-cum-auction cannot be
conducted on the tender-cum-auction day due to
unavoidable reasons, it will be conducted on the next
working day at the appointed venue and time. The tender
forms will be available for sale at Forest Range Office,
Marayoor one week before the date of auction at a price
of Rs. 200 + 4% VAT. The sale of tender forms will be
closed at 8 a.m. on the date of auction. The sealed tender
will be accepted in Forest Range Office, Marayoor until
9 a.m. of the date of auction. The tenders received after
the specified time will be rejected. The incomplete and
defective tender forms will also be rejected. The tenderer
should clearly record the lot numbers as well as the rate
offered for each lot which is intended to be purchased.
The tenderer should properly sign in tender forms.

The Divisional Forest Officer, Sandal Division,
Marayoor reserves the right to exclude any class or
quantity of sandalwood shown in the schedule above from
sale. The tenderer/bidder should produce a certificate
issued by the concerned District Magistrate to prove his
Identity, Permanent address, Signature and Photo. They
should produce an attested photo copy of the Electoral
Identity Card also. Those who fail to produce the Identity
Certificate as above will not be allowed to participate in
the sale. Each tenderer/bidder must deposit, before being
permitted to participate in the sale, an EMD of
Rs. 50,000 (Rupees Fifty thousand only) and sign the sale
notice in token of acceptance of the sale conditions. The
lot number and the rate should be legibly written in the
tender form both in figures and words. The successful
tenderer/bidder should remit the full sale value if the
tender/bid value is less than Rupees fifty thousand only. If
the tender/bid value is more than Rupees fifty thousand,
35 % of the sale value, subjected to a minimum of Rupees
fifty thousand and a maximum of Rupees two lakh and
fifty thousand, should be remitted on the date of auction
either in cash or as Nationalised Bank Demand Draft
drawn in favour of the Forest Range Officer, Marayoor
and payable at State Bank of Travancore, Munnar Branch.
If the 35 % of the sale value is more than Rupees two
lakh and fifty thousand, the balance amount should be
remitted within seven days from the date of auction in the
Sub-Treasury, Devikulam and the receipted chalan should
be produced before the Forest Range Officer, Marayoor.
Value Added Tax @ 12.5 % will be applicable to all
successful bidder/tenderer irrespective of the destination of
transportation and purpose.
If any modifications or change in the sale conditions
are intimated by the Chief Conservator of Forests
(Protection), Thiruvananthapuram that will also be
applicable to this tender-cum-auction sale and it will be
informed to the bidder/tenderer before tender-cum-auction.
The undersigned reserves the right to alter the quantities
of sandal materials mentioned in the above schedule or to
cancel the tender-cum-auction of any sandal materials
without further notice.

Sealed tenders are invited for the construction of
Solar Power Fencing at various places at Kalladikkode
under Mannarkkad Range of Mannarkkad Division.
The tender form can be had on application from the
undersigned on request and payment of cost of tender
form. The tender forms will be issued till 1 p. m. on 2-12-2010.
The sealed tenders should be addressed to Divisional
Forest Officer, Mannarkkad. The tender will be accepted
till 3 p. m. on 2-12-2010. If the tender could not be
conducted on 2-12-2010 it will be conducted on 8-12-2010.
Late tenders and tenders without EMD should not be
accepted. Primary agreement in proper form in Stamp
Paper worth Rs. 100 should be enclosed with the tender. EMD
should be 2.5 % of the total amount of tender and in the
form of Demand Draft in favour of Divisonal Forest
Officer, Mannarkkad payable at Mannarkkad. Sealed
tenders will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on 2-12-2010 in the

Competitive sealed tenders are invited by the
undersigned on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the
prescribed form from eligible contractors registered with
Kerala PWD for following Civil Works in Kuttiady,
Peruvannamuzhy and Thamarassery Ranges during
2010-11. The tender is fixed to be conducted on
30-11-2010. The tender documents can be purchased from
the office of the undersigned during office hours up to
1 p. m. on 30-11-2010. Cost of tender form is non-
refundable. The tender documents should be properly
filled up and should be submitted on or before 2.30 p.m.
on 30-11-2010. It should be accompanied by all necessary
documents, along with Earnest Money Deposit by way of
Bankers DD or Fixed Deposit or National Saving
Certificate or any approved Certificate drawn in favour of
Divisional Forest Officer, Kozhikode payable at
Kozhikode. The intending tenderers should furnish a
preliminary agreement in Stamp Paper worth Rs. 100
along with tender for each work. Incomplete tenders, or
tenders without necessary documents or tenders not in
accordance with tender conditions will not be accepted.
Tenders will be opened and scrutinized at 3 p.m. on the
same day in the presence of those tenderers who are
present at the time by the Divisional Forest Officer,
Kozhikode or an officer authorized by him. The
Divisional Forest Officer reserves the right to reject any
tender either partly or in full, without assigning any reason
thereof. If the tender date happens to be a holiday, or the
tender could not be conducted on the notified date, due to
any other reasons, the tender will be conducted at the
same place and time on the next working day, as per the
same conditions as detailed below.

Cost of tender forms in respect of works with
estimate from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 50,000 shall be
Rs. 300+VAT and in respect of works with estimate of
Rs. 50,001 to 10 lakhs shall be Rs. 0.20% + VAT of the
cost of the work rounded to the nearest multiple of 100
subject to a minimum of Rs. 400 + VAT and maximum of
Rs. 1,500 + VAT in respect of works with estimate of
above 10 lakhs shall be Rs. 0.15% + VAT and minimum
of Rs. 2,500+VAT. All existing rules, regulations,
directions etc. prescribed by Kerala PWD and Forest
Department in respect of civil works shall be applicable
for this tender also.
