Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Purchase

of Water Purifier-cum-Cooler /Water Purifier-cum-Cooler-

cum-Heater to Various Departments of University College,

Thiruvananthapuram for the year 2010-11 under Students’

Amenities (Plan) Fund.

The envelops containing the tenders should be

superscribed as “Tenders for the supply of Water Purifier-

cum-Cooler/Water Purifier-cum-Cooler-cum-Heater to

Various

Departments

University

College,

Thiruvananthapuram” and addressed to the Principal,

University College, Thiruvananthapuram so as to reach in

this College on or before 2 p. m. on 31-12-2010. Late

tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened

at 3 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers or their

authorised representatives who may be present at that time.

Tender forms can be had from the Office of the

Principal, University College, Thiruvananthapuram on

working days upto 31-12-2010 till 1 p. m. The cost of the

tender form is Rs. 169 (Rupees one hundred and sixty nine

only) including VAT + Cess.

The cost of duplicate tender forms is Rs. 114 (Rupees

one hundred and fourteen only). Duplicate tender forms

will be issued only to those who purchase the original

tender forms. Those who wish to get tender forms by post

may send an additional amount of Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty

only) per copy by Money Order. The additional amount of

Rs. 100 (Rupees One hundred only) should be send for

getting the duplicate tender forms together with original.

Money Order for the amount more or less than

specified above will not be accepted. Demand Draft,

Cheques, Stamp etc. will not be accepted towards the cost

of tender forms or will not be sent by V. P. P. The tender

forms are not transferable.

Along with tender, EMD @ 1% of the amount

tendered, subject to a minimum of Rs. 100 (Rupees One

hundred only) should also be submitted in the

form of D. D.

Conditions

1. The supply of the 1.5 HP Diesel/Kerosene Motor

Pumps with accessories and hose should be made

to Kasaragod and Hosdurg Range within 15 days

from the date of execution of agreement. Receipt

should be obtained from Range Officer, Social

Forestry Range, Hosdurg and Kasaragod.

2. If the supply is not completed within the date

specified in item No. 1 above, the tender will be

cancelled and action taken to purchase the items

at the risk and loss of the original tender.

3. The Demand Draft towards E. M. D. should be

pledged in the name of the undersigned payable at

State Bank of India, Vidyanagar Branch, Kasaragod

and should be accompanied along with the filled

up tender forms.

4. The brochure of the goods to be supplied

should be produced along with tender application.

5. The successful tenderer should remit 5% amount

of the PAC as security deposit for the contract and

enter into an agreement with the Forest

Department within 7 days from the date of

intimation regarding the acceptence of the tender.

6. Final payment of bills will be done only after

ensuring quality of the goods.

7. SSI units are exempted from remitting EMD. Such

units should produce necessary eligibility

Certificate obtained from the Manager, District

industries concerned.

8. The tenderer is liable to follow Kerala Purchase

Rules and all the conditions stipulated as per

Kerala Forest Code and Kerala Store Purchase

Laboratory articles to GRFTVHSS, Azheekal.

Cost of tender form—Rs. 400+VAT.
