WHEREAS, the Government of Kerala has published Act No. 21 of 2005, namely, the Kerala Forest (Vesting and

Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act 2003, which came into effect from 2nd day of June 2000 for the

conservation and management of ecologically fragile lands, minimizing the reduction of degradation of the Eco-System and

Biological Diversity therein.

Now, it is hereby notified for the information of the public that the ownership and possession of the land as per the

details shown in the schedule hereto, in the District of Palakkad has been vested with the Government of Kerala free from

all encumbrances and the right, title and interest of the owner or any other person thereon shall stand extinguished from

the date of commencement of the Act, i. e., 2nd June 2000.

The publication of the notification is made as required under Section 3(2) of the Kerala Forest (Vesting and

Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act, 2003 as per Government Notification No. 15567/Leg./B1/01/Law

dated 3rd May 2005 and published in Kerala Gazette No. 929 dated 3rd May 2005.

Divisional Forest Officer, Flying Squad Division,

Thiruvananthapuram for and on behalf of Governor of

Kerala.

The tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. in

presence of the bidders present on that date.

The

tenders can be sent by post also well in advance so as to

reach this office in time.

Retaining wall in front and Northern side of Chullimanoor

Flying Squad Range Office building— ` 2,50,000.

EMD— ` 6,250.

Cost of tender form—` 400+VAT.

Qualification of Contractor—‘D’ and above.

Period before which work is to be completed—Thirty

days from the date of agreement.

Date, place and time of opening of tender—1-3-2011,

Thiruvananthapuram at 3.30 p. m.

The details and necessary documents will be

obtained from the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer,

Flying Squad Division, Thiruvananthapuram on any

working days till 1 p. m. of tender date. Tender form can

be obtained by remitting cash including sale tax with

necessary application.

The cost of tender form will not

be returned.

The terms and conditions applicable to

tender formalities in Kerala Public Works Department will

be applicable to this work also.

Tender forms are not

transferable.

to PWD tender is also applicable here.

EMD shall be

remitted by Demand Draft drawn on any Nationlised Bank/

TSA duly pledged in the name of Divisional Forest

Officer, Flying Squad Division, Thiruvananthapuram.

A preliminary agreement in Stamp Paper worth ` 100 in

prescribed form should also be submitted along with the

tender.

The tender without the preliminary agreement will

be refused.

Tender forms are not transferable. A

successful tender is liable to remit the taxes as per

rules.

If the tender date becomes holiday, the tender will

be conducted on the next working day, i.e., on 3-3-2011.

Competitive sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the prescribed

form from eligible contractors registered with Kerala PWD for following civil work in Kadalundy Vallikkunnu

Community Reserve, Thamarassery Range during 2010-11. The tender is fixed to be conducted on 24-2-2011.

The tender documents can be purchased from the office of the undersigned during office hours upto 12 noon on 24-

2-2011. Cost of tender form is non refundable. The tender documents should be properly filled up and should be

submitted on or before 1 p. m. on 24-2-2011. It should be accompanied by all necessary documents, along with

Earnest Money Deposit by way of Nationalized Bankers DD or fixed deposit or National Saving Certificate or any

approved certificate drawn in favour of Divisional Forest Officer, Kozhikode, payable at Kozhikode. The intending

tenderers should furnish a preliminary agreement in stamp paper worth ` 100 along with tender for work.

Incomplete tenders or tenders without necessary documents or tenders not in accordance with tender conditions will

not be accepted. Tenders will be opened and scrutinized at 3 p. m. on the same day in the presence of those

tenderers who are present at that time by the Divisional Forest Officer, Kozhikode or an officer authorized by him.

The Divisional Forest Officer reserves the right to reject any tender either partly or in full, without assigning any

reason thereof. If the tender date happens to be a holiday, or the tender could not be conducted on the notified date,

due to any other reasons, the tender will be conducted at the same place and time on the next working day as per the

same conditions as detailed below.

If the tender for all works or any of the works could not be conducted on the said date/dates, tender for such

works will be conducted at the above place and time with same conditions on 4-3-2011. If tender could not be

conducted even on this date, necessary tenders conducted for the entire work or balance works for which tender

have not been received on the following dates with same condition-8-3-2011 or else 15-3-2011.

behalf of Governor of Kerala. Tender forms can be had from the office of the undersigned till 1 p. m. on the date of

tender on payment of its cost. The last date and time of receipt of tender in sealed cover is 3 p. m. on

23-2-2011. The tender will be opened at 3.30 p. m. in the presence of the tenderers present at that time. In case the

tender is not materialized due to unforeseen reasons, it will be conducted on 2-3-2011 at the same time and place. If

it is not materialized on 2-3-2011 the same would be conducted on 9-3-2011.

Department will be applicable to this works also. Tender forms are not transferable. Tender should be submitted

along with a Preliminary agreement signed and executed in Stamp Paper worth Rs. 100. Incomplete and tender

without prescribed EMD or tender received after the stipulated time are liable to be rejected summarily. The
