It is hereby notified that the provisional inclusion of Shajahan, A. [Sl. No. 214, Rank No. 5 (S/L-Muslim)] in Ranked

List No. 55/2008/SS IV for the post of Inspector in Legal Metrology brought into force with effect from 11-3-2008 is made

absolute by accepting the documents produced by the candidate.

Ranked List No. 55/2008/SS IV dated 11-3-2008 stands modified to the above extent.

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Objective

Type Test (OMR Valuation) held on 31-10-2008 and subsequent verification of original documents of candidates included

in the Probability List published on 18-10-2010 for the post of Draftsman Grade-II/Town Planning Surveyor

Grade-II on ` 6680-10790 in the Town & Country Planning Department (Category No. 89/2007). This Ranked List is

brought into force with effect from 19-4-2011.

The List will be in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force

till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three

years whichever is earlier. Candidates from this list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules

and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported

to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies,

there is no guarantee that all the candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining

in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their

names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, re-valuation of Answer Script is not allowed. But Answer

Script will be rechecked if the candidates apply for it along with a chalan receipt for the prescribed fee of

` 50 (Fifty only) remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account

“0051 PSC-105-State-PSC 99 Examination Fee” addressed to the Deputy Secretary (Examinations)-1, Kerala Public Service

Commission, Pattom P. O., Thiruvananthapuram-695 004 should reach the office within 30 days from the date on which

the Ranked List has come into force. Application for rechecking after the stipulated time will not be entertained and

fee once remitted will not be refunded.

Applications for rechecking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost

from the Enquiry Sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in

A4 size paper from the Commission’s website: www.keralapsc.org or photocopied therefrom. Applications submitted

in any other manner will not be considered. Applications for re-checking received from candidates whose answer scripts

have been invalidated will not be considered.

In the case of candidates who send applications for rechecking in the prescribed form within the prescribed time

limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above, the marks awarded will be rechecked and the result of the

rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.

Entries put in column 9 are based on the Communities specified by the candidates in their application forms

and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidate whose communities have not been correctly noted

in this list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the Deputy Secretary (Examinations) - I

Kerala Public Service Commission, Thiruvananthapuram-695 004 within one month from the date of publication of

this list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding

discrepancies if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.

Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their answer sheet (Part A & Part B) relating to this selection

shall remit a fee of ` 200 by way of chalan in any of the Treasuries in the State (Head of Account 0051-PSC-800

other receipts-99 other receipts). The duly filled up application in the prescribed form (available from the Commission’s

website) along with the original chalan should be submitted to the Deputy Secretary (Exam.)-I, Kerala Public Service

Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram within 45 days from the date on which the Ranked List has into force.

A copy of the answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate. Copies of OMR Sheet invalidated due to any

defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from applying for a copy of answer sheet which is not their own,

and legal proceedings will be initiated against those who do so. The last date for receipt of applications for

rechecking/obtaining photocopy of the answer script is 3-6-2011. Applications for rechecking/obtaining photocopy

received after the prescribed time limit and not in the prescribed forms will not be entertained.

A copy of an answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate. Copies of OMR answer sheets

invalidated due to any defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from applying for a copy of

an answer sheet which is not their own and legal proceedings will be initiated against those who do so.

A period of forty five days time for rechecking of Answer Scripts will be allowed to candidates with effect

from the date of approval of Ranked List. The candidates can avail only one chance after the approval of

Ranked List.

Candidates desiring to recheck the answer script relating to the written test held for selection to the

post may apply for rechecking within 45 days from the date of approval of the Ranked List.

“Applications for rechecking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available

free of cost from the Enquiry sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or

downloaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission’s Website: www.keralapsc.org or

photocopied therefrom. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered.”

The application for rechecking along with original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee for ` 50

under the head of account “0051-PSC 105 State PSC 99-Examination Fee” addressed to the Deputy

Secretary (Examinations), Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram-4, should reach

the office on or before 24-6-2011. Application for rechecking received after the prescribed time limit and

not in the prescribed form will not be entertained and fee once remitted will not be refunded.

Note:—I. Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their OMR answer sheet (Part A & Part B) relating to this

selection shall remit the fee of ` 200 in any of the Treasuries in the State (Head of Account 0051 PSC -800

other receipts-99-other Receipts). The duly filled in application in the prescribed form (available from the

Commission’s website: www.keralapsc.org) along with the original chalan should be submitted to the District

Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kozhikode within 45 days from the date of approval of

this ranked list (on or before 13-7-2011). A copy of an answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate.

Copies of OMR answer sheets invalidated due to any defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from

applying for a copy of an answer sheet which is not their own and legal proceedings will be initiated against

those who do so.

II.

A period of 45 days time to apply for rechecking of Answer Scripts will be allowed to candidates with

effect from the date of approval of the Ranked List. The candidates can avail only one chance after the

approval of Ranked List.

Candidates desiring to get rechecked their answer script relating to the written test held for selection to the post

may apply for rechecking within 45 days from the date of approval of the Ranked List (on or before 13-7-2011).

“Applications for rechecking of Answer Scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost

from the Enquiry Sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4

size paper from the Commission’s Website: www.keralapsc.org or photocopied therefrom. Applications submitted in any

other manner will not be considered.”

The application for rechecking along with original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee of ` 50 under the Head of

Account “0051-PSC 105 State PSC 99-Examination Fee”, addressed to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission

District Office, Kozhikode should reach the office within 45 days from the date of approval of the Ranked List (on or before

13-7-2011). Application for rechecking received after the stipulated time will not be entertained and fee once remitted will not

be refunded.
