Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Filter
Cooler in University College, Thiruvananthapuram for the
year 2011-12.
The envelops containing the tenders should be
superscribed as Tenders for the Supply of Filter Cooler
and addressed to the Principal, University College,
Thiruvananthapuram so as to reach in this College on or
before 28-12-2011, 2 p.m. Late tenders will not be accepted.
The tenders will be opened at 3 p.m. on 28-12-2011 in the
presence of the tenderers or their authorized
representatives who may be present at that time.
Tender forms can be had from the college office from
10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the working days till 28-12-2011.
The cost of the tender form is ` 451 (Four hundred and
fifty one only) including VAT+Cess. The tender froms
can be had by post by sending Money Order for ` 510
(Five hundred and ten only).
The cost of duplicate tender form will be ` 226
(Two Hundred and Twenty Six only) including VAT+Cess.
It will be issued only to those who have purchased
the original tender forms. The original and duplicate
tender forms together can be had by post by sending
money order for ` 740 (Rupees Seven Hundred and Forty
only).
The cost of tender form paid will not be refunded.
The tender form once purchased, is not to be exchanged.
Mony order for the amount more or less than
specified above will not be accepted. Demand Draft,
Cheque, Stamp etc. will not be accepted towards the cost
of tender forms or will not be send by V.P.P. The tender

to Malayalam and Commerce Department of T. M.
Government College, Tirur for ` 2,00,000 under the scheme
of Starting of New Courses, Plan 2011-12.
The tenders should be superscribed as “Tender
No. 11/2011-12 (P) supply of equipments under the
scheme of Starting of New Courses Plan 2011-12” and
addressed to the Principal, T. M. Government
College,Tirur, Pin-676 502, Malappuram District. The last
date and time of receipt of filled in tender is on 28-12-2011
at 2 p. m. and will be opened on the same day at 3 p.m.
in the presence of such tenderers or their authorised
representatives who may be present at that time. Sale of
tender forms will be closed on 28-12-2011 at 12 noon.
Late tenders will not be accepted.
Intending tenderers may on application to the
Principal, T. M. Government College, Tirur, Pin-676 502,
Malappuram District, obtain the requisite tender form on
which tenders should be submitted. Application for the
tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance
of ` 400 towards the cost of forms + ` 16 towards VAT,
(Total ` 416) which is the price fixed for a tender form and
which is not refundable under any circumstances. The
tender forms are not transferable. Cheques, Postal Orders,
Drafts etc., will not be accepted towards the cost of
tender form nor will the form be sent by V.P.P. Those who
are required tender forms by Registered Post, should sent
` 466 by Money Order including cost of tender form and
Registered Postal Charges.
Every tender should be completely filled, signed and
accompanied by Demand Draft towards 1% of total cost
of equipments to be quoted as E.M.D. Short/Term/Fixed
Deposit receipt should not be accepted towards E.M.D.
E.M.D. carry not interest. The rate, VAT and other
charges should be quoted separately for each item. The
successful tenderers should supply the equipments within
one month after the receipt of the supply order at their
own expenses. The price should be valid upto
31-3-2012. The firms who are exempted from furnishing
E.M.D. should attach true copy of the exemption order
along with tender documents. Every tenderer should
execute an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth
` 100 along with the tender.
The undersigned will have the right to cancel or
extend the tender formalities without any further notice.
The cash transactions in the office is from 10 a. m. to
2 p. m. on all working days.
