INSTRUCTIONS
1. This Cover is not to be destroyed but to be
preserved and returned after the Examination.
2. Before opening, carefully examine to see that the
cover has not been tampered with.
3. Outer cover containing the Question Paper Packets
should be opened manually by tearing the adhesive
Paper Seal and the Flap of the Cover. Blade or knife
should not be used as it may cause damage to the
inner cover containing Question Papers.
4. Utmost care should be taken to see that the inner
packets containing Question Papers are not Torn/
mutilated while opening the outer cover.
5. Before giving out the Question Paper Packets count
the packets carefully to see that the number of
packets tallies with the number noted on the Outer
Cover. If anything wrong or suspicious is noticed, the
fact should be reported at once to the District
Officer/Controller of Examinations and the cover
forwarded separately with a report.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed Tenders are invited for the supply of Personal
Computers from leading manufacturers to Kerala Public
Service Commission, Thiruvananthapuram.
The tender should be superscribed “Tender
No.2/2011” and addressed to The Secretary, Kerala Public
Service Commission, Pattom P. O, Thiruvananthapuram,
Kerala, Pin- 695 004. Tenders will be received upto 1 p. m.
on 11-1-2012 and will be opened at 3 p. m. on 11-1-2012 in
the presence of the tenderers or their authorized
representatives who may be present at that time. Late
tenders will not be accepted.
Intending tenderers may send an application to the
Secretary, Kerala Public Service Commission and obtain the
requisite tender forms. Applications for the tender form
should be accompanied by a Cash remittance/M.O./D.D.
(favouring Secretary, Kerala Public Service Commission) of
` 5,000/- including VAT, which is the price fixed for a
tender form and is not refundable under any circumstance.
The tender forms are not transferable. Duplicate tender
forms, if required will be issued at a cost of ` 2,500/-per
copy. The Sale of tender forms will be closed at 12 Noon
on 11-1-2012. Cheques, Postal Orders, Postal Stamps etc.
will neither be accepted towards the cost of the forms nor
will the forms be sent by VPP. Kerala Stamp Paper will be
supplied to the intending tenderers outside Kerala for
execution of agreement along with the tender in case they
request for the same and remit `130 separately ie. ` 100 for
Stamp Paper and ` 30 towards incidental expenses. Money
Order alone will be accepted for this purpose.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.
The make, model, year of manufacture of the
equipments quoted etc. should be clearly mentioned.
2.
The period of guarantee should be specified. All
charges, taxes, duties and levies should be clearly
indicated.
3.
The items should be supplied to the various offices
of the Kerala Public Service Commission.
4.
The installation, commissioning and initial operation
to the satisfaction of the Kerala Public Service
Commission will be the responsibility of the supplier.
5.
The payment will be made after completion of supply
and after installation and commissioning subject to
certification by our Technical Experts as to the
quality of the system supplied and the efficiency and
proper working on commissioning.
6.
In case of under performance during the guarantee
period the firm shall replace the equipment. If the
equipment has to be replaced for under performance,
during the guarantee period, the period of guarantee
will recommence from the date of replacement.
7.
Dealership certificate from the manufacturer should be
produced.

Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) equivalent to 1% of
the total amount quoted by the Tenderer, and an
agreement executed in the Kerala Stamp Paper worth
`100 the details of which are available in the tender
forms itself by a crossed Demand Draft payable at
Thiruvananthapuram drawn in favour of The
Secretary, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom
Palace P. O., Thiruvananthapuram – 4.
5.
The Earnest Money Deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderer will be returned after the tender is settled.
6.
The Earnest Money Deposit of the successful
tenderer will be adjusted towards the security
deposit.
7.
Security Deposit of 5% of the purchase value should
be deposited by way of DD payable at
Thiruvananthapuram drawn in the name of the
Secretary, Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom
Palace P. O., Thiruvananthapuram-695 004. The
Security Deposit will be returned after satisfactory
fulfillment of the contract.
8.
The Tenders will be opened at 3 p. m. on 11-1-2012
